We’re looking for an accomplished Staff DevOps Engineer to help shape and evolve our cloud, DevOps, and SRE platforms. In this role, you will design and implement the tools, automation, and infrastructure that support reliable, secure, and scalable service delivery across our environments. You will play a key role in improving platform reliability, operational efficiency, scalability, and consistency, working across teams to deliver resilient and well-governed solutions. Reporting to the Cloud DevOps Manager, you will also mentor other engineers and help drive best practice across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and site reliability engineering.

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services.

• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, along with effective scripting and automation capability.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices across infrastructure, platforms, and services.
• Significant hands-on experience in at least one major cloud platform, with broad exposure across AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Strong monitoring, alerting, and observability experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.

We're looking for an accomplished Staff Software Engineer (DevX) to drive the development of tools and platforms that enhance our developers’ experience. In this role, you'll build and integrate software solutions that streamline coding, testing, and deployment processes, making our engineering teams more effective and efficient. We’re looking for an accomplished Staff DevOps Engineer to help shape and evolve our cloud, DevOps, and SRE platforms. In this role, you will design and implement the tools, automation, and infrastructure that support reliable, secure, and scalable service delivery across our environments. You will play a key role in improving platform reliability, operational efficiency, scalability, and consistency, working across teams to deliver resilient and well-governed solutions. Reporting to the Cloud DevOps Manager, you will also mentor other engineers and help drive best practice across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and site reliability engineering.

 

What you’ll do

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure and deployment patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the organisation, promoting strong engineering standards and operational best practice.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical services and ensure platform availability.
• Drive standardisation, automation, and documentation to improve consistency, reduce operational overhead, and support knowledge sharing.
• Contribute across the full lifecycle of platform and service delivery, from design and build through to operation and optimisation.

Essential skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or software engineering roles.
• Strong Kubernetes experience at scale, with deep understanding of containers and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, along with effective scripting and automation capability.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices across infrastructure, platforms, and services.
• Significant hands-on experience in at least one major cloud platform, with broad exposure across AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Strong monitoring, alerting, and observability experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.
• Strong Linux and/or Windows systems administration experience.
• Experience with software delivery automation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure SDLC practices, including exposure to static and dynamic security testing.
• Good understanding of SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, toil reduction, availability, and observability.
• Experience managing and scaling Elasticsearch in production is strongly preferred.

This role focuses on designing, operating, and evolving observability platforms with a strong emphasis on metrics, logging, and alerting. The primary tooling is Grafana and Prometheus, with responsibility for ensuring production systems are observable, reliable, and operable at scale. The role works closely with platform, infrastructure, and application teams.

 

Key responsibilities:
• Design, build, and operate observability platforms based on Grafana and Prometheus
• Define and maintain metrics standards, dashboards, alerts, and SLOs
• Improve signal quality: reduce alert noise, tune thresholds, and improve runbooks
• Support incident response by providing actionable telemetry and post-incident analysis
• Integrate metrics, logs, and traces across distributed systems
• Work with engineering teams to instrument services correctly
• Automate observability configuration using infrastructure as code
• Contribute to reliability improvements through capacity planning and performance analysis

• Strong experience with Prometheus (scraping, federation, recording rules, alerting)

You will collaborate closely with product, design, technology, and data science teams, you will be part of the backend platform team to build new backend services, processes, and components and improve existing ones.

We're looking for an accomplished Staff Software Engineer (DevX) to drive the development of tools and platforms that enhance our developers’ experience. In this role, you'll build and integrate software solutions that streamline coding, testing, and deployment processes, making our engineering teams more effective and efficient. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to identify workflow bottlenecks and implement innovative solutions, acting as a technical leader in shaping our internal development ecosystem. Reporting to the DevX Manager (Observability & DevX), you'll also mentor other engineers and uphold best practices in code quality, automation, and performance. 

What You’ll Do 

• Design and develop internal software tools, services, and frameworks that improve the developer experience (e.g. custom CLI tools, development environment enhancements, test automation frameworks).
• Work with engineering teams to gather requirements and feedback for developer tools, then iterate on solutions to ensure they address real-world needs.
• Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipeline code and infrastructure, ensuring build and deployment processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Contribute to the architecture of our developer platform by evaluating new technologies and integrating open-source solutions to enhance productivity.
• Mentor and guide other software engineers in using DevX tools and adopting best practices for efficient software delivery.
• Ensure all DevX solutions are well-documented, maintainable, and secure; actively participate in code reviews and design discussions to uphold high standards.
• Partner with engineering teams to define and enforce AI standards within the developer ecosystem, ensuring consistent, scalable, and secure adoption of AI-driven solutions. 

Essential Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years' experience in Software Engineering or DevOps roles, with a focus on building developer tooling or platforms.
• Programming skills in one or more languages (such as Python, Java, Go, or C#), with the ability to write clean, maintainable code for internal tools and services.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes, including familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices (version control, code reviews, automated testing) and experience integrating these into automated workflows.
• Proficiency with containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/OCI) to support on-demand development and testing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks that improve developer productivity.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, with experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects to successful outcomes.
