We are looking for a creative, diligent Senior Software Engineering Manager who will be responsible for driving the engineering teams researching and developing the next generation of PlayStation's testing technology. This technology - including automation tools, framework and CI infrastructure - is used to analyze the quality of front end workflows on the PS5.

As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Quality Engineering), you will lead and develop a team responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple products and platforms. This role shapes quality strategy, drives engineering excellence, and enables efficient, reliable release processes. You will work cross-functionally and lead a distributed team across locations, embedding quality practices throughout the development lifecycle. The position entails collaboration with quality management leadership, different internal departments, as well as open source software communities. You will also work closely with your peers and leadership to establish project prioritisation, team goals and overall quality.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of quality engineers across multiple products and platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least five years in a people management role. Proven success in people management including mentorship. Past experience supervising people managers is strongly preferred.
• Effective leading of multiple Agile teams in quality and testing engineering domains. (Software engineering managers with deep experience and understanding of testing groups and processes should also apply.)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, which encompass presenting to senior leadership, product managers, software engineers, project managers, and customers.
• Significant experience with software engineering practices, software automation and testing systems (for example, Jenkins).
• Proficient in Python programming. Enough C++ experience to provide guidance in larger architectural discussion and occasional code review.
• A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, and applying proven software methodologies to testing and driving reductions in technical debt.

As the Hardware System Test Engineering Manager, you will lead the Hardware System Test Team responsible for developing manufacturing test solutions for High Performance Modules (HPM), Server Blades, and Multi-node racks as part of the production assembly process. The Team 

The Product Test and Diagnosis team is responsible for identifying and diagnosing hardware defects introduced during the manufacturing process. The team defines, develops, and executes an end-to-end test strategy spanning silicon, board-level assemblies, server blades, and rack-scale systems. Testing is performed across the full product lifecycle, including manufacturing, and deployed field environments. 

Product Test and Diagnosis is part of the Manufacturing Operations organisation, which also comprises Manufacturing Technology, Supply Chain, and Quality teams. The group operates as a global team, with engineers based in the UK (Bristol and Cambridge), Taiwan, India, and the United States. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software test engineers delivering manufacturing test solutions for complex compute systems. 

• Define the manufacturing test strategy and roadmap for High Performance Modules, Server Blades, and Multi-node racks. 

• Own delivery of test executive software used in both manufacturing and lab environments to orchestrate test sequencing, logging, results aggregation, and integration of test content from diverse sources. 

• Partner with internal software, firmware, and platform teams to ensure required hooks, diagnostics, telemetry, and APIs exist to enable effective manufacturing test. 

• Establish best practices for test coverage, traceability, release management, and configuration control of test software and content. 

• Implement metrics and dashboards for manufacturing test (yield, escapes, false fails, coverage, cycle time) and lead continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Drive root-cause analysis of manufacturing failures and field returns, coordinating corrective actions across design, validation, and manufacturing engineering. 

• Own the delivery of manufacturing test fixtures for High Performance Modules and Server Blades, including defining requirements, managing external subcontractors, and ensuring fixtures meet quality, cost, schedule, and production readiness needs. 

• Ensure test solutions are scalable, maintainable, and production-ready, including documentation, training, and support processes for factory deployment. 

• Support supplier/contract manufacturing engagements as needed, including test station readiness, deployment qualification, and ongoing production support.

Job Summary 

As a Senior Technical Project Manager focussed on Platform you will play a key role in bridging the technical and management domains of teams responsible for the planning and delivery of solutions for workload management, systems management & observability, integrated hardware/software quality assurance and cloud development.

You will collaborate with highly technical engineering leads, and multi-functional teams across systems, software, operations, and product to support the flawless delivery of our fully integrated hardware and software AI systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the primary liaison for the technical teams in multi-functional discussions, ensuring alignment on project requirements.

• Support the planning, development and management of project schedules and deliverables to achieve programme objectives on schedule.
• Ensure each team’s programme deliverables satisfy requirements and are fulfilled by the engineering work.
• Monitor and track dependencies both within Platform and with other programme teams, communicating any near-term inputs for the individual team backlogs.

• Represent Platform in programme management syncs and reviews. Efficiently aid teams’ navigation of scope changes to minimize impacts on project timelines and outcomes.

• Work with Release Management and Engineering teams to minimise time-to-delivery and remove blockers for developing at scale.
• High-level technical understanding of the software, QA, cloud development solutions so that you can contribute meaningfully to priority discussions.

• Proactively identify risks and dependencies, support the teams’ development of mitigation strategies, and inform/escalate issues.
• Provide regular updates on program status, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions to internal partners, facilitating informed decision-making.

• Facilitate process for internal compute resource allocations among engineering teams.

• Continually improve processes, optimize workflow, and maintain the highest quality levels.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working in programs with a strong software and hardware mix.
• Track record of working with Agile project development practices.

Job Summary

As a member of the drivers and utilities team you will contribute to the planning, design, implementation and testing of low level kernel drivers and user space driver library code. You will be part of one of the two teams in the system software department (the firmware team being the other one) and report to the drivers and utilities team manager.  

The Team

The drivers and utilities team forms part of the system software group – working closely with both software engineers developing our Poplar SDK and with silicon and hardware engineers developing Graphcore’s IPU solution. The drivers and utilities team develop custom control software on the host in kernel and user space. Our solutions enable our customers to get maximum performance and utility for our cutting-edge products.  

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, implement, test and document OS Kernel and Device Driver software at the highest standard using C/C++/Python programming languages
• Participate in agile development – working as part of a scrum team to develop the right software at pace
• Communicate effectively and contribute regularly to technical discussions with your peers in software and hardware engineering, with architects and other stakeholders
• Hands-on during key product development phases involving close working with hardware and silicon engineering groups to enable fast time to market delivery

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Proven industry experience in software development using programming languages such as C/C++/Python
• OS Kernel and Device Driver development and deployment experience in Linux or Windows systems
• Good understanding of lower-level software stack and interactions with the hardware layer
• Possess effective problem-solving skills, familiar with a full suite of debug and performance analysis tools and techniques
• Experience with one or more of the following: PCIe, CPU, device drivers, SoC, firmware, and hardware/software integration
• Proactive in obtaining engineering or management input to solve issues
• Motivated to schedule own workload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well within a multinational team and with multinational customers. Excellent cultural awareness is essential. 

Desirable

• Experience developing firmware or drivers for GPUs. 
• Knowledge of CUDA or OpenCL  
• Experience working on upstreaming of kernel code / contributing to Linux kernel.

We’re hiring a Product Manager to drive Authorize, a key product solution of Ping Identity focused on the future of authorization. You’ll help shape how people and AI Agents securely access resources.

The Product Manager role is an important part of Ping Identity’s worldwide go to market strategy for our products. You will report to the Group Product Manager for Authorization. You will contribute to and implement the product strategy by leading on all execution activities, creating product requirements, coordinating backlogs and owning the roadmap.
