As an Account Manager your focus will be on driving incremental revenue and providing the tools and support for our partners to make sure they thrive on our platform and increase sales while improving operational aspects. With this in mind, you need to be super passionate about account management and business development, but also able to adapt and change your tone and approach depending on the type of partner you're working with.

On a personal note, it goes without saying that you're a team player and willing to get your hands dirty as we build this new area of our business in Slovakia! As time progresses and more Restaurant partners are onboarded, the targets and duties of the role may develop. This means that you must thrive in the 'start-up' environment where constant change means there's always lots to get your teeth into!   

What you’ll be doing

• Successfully onboarding and training venues together with Account Managers, providing them with all the tools and information to start working as soon as possible. Hired candidates will first learn the basics of onboarding new partners to our platform, which will take approximately one month.
• Driving and managing Month over Month operations excellence metrics, growth of our current venues and improving venue performance by measuring critical KPIs, strong analysis, and frequent quality and satisfaction checks.
• Owning the partner's assortment - suggesting which products should be listed initially, and working with the partner to constantly add/remove items to improve customer conversion.
• Working with the partner to improve overall sales and conversion rates by sharing tools and best practices to help ensure the partner's success.
• Getting feedback from our partners and translating it into product, marketing and operations improvement
• Key communicator between Wolt and Restaurant partners.
• Working closely together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with Restaurant partners

• You have proven experience from previous account management, business development or similar role
• You are a self-starter, reliable team player with the ability to deliver results on-time and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
• You cultivate extensive mutually beneficial relationships 
• You are structured, detailed, and service-oriented
• Strong analytical experience and specific knowledge of analytical dashboards - for example, Looker or Power BI
• You have strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and impact
• You have a proactive mentality - an independent thinker who can work with limited guidance but can deliver a successful outcome through grit and determination 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience
• Native-level Slovak and fluent in English (minimum B2)

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting. 

The salary below is the monthly salary range for this position.

• Analyze key performance metrics to gain insights and improve customer performance.

• Forecast growth and evaluate the achievement of our business goals.

• Execute and refine our operational strategy, solve daily commercial and operational issues.

• Collaborate with the Sales & Partners Operations team to smoothly activate all restaurants.

• Lead re-negotiation of restaurant contract conditions such as commission rates and campaign plans.

• Work with cross functional departments to drive business growth (Campaigns, Partner Operations, Customer Service, Courier Operations).

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in Account Management, Consulting, Business Development, or similar roles.

• Excellent communication & written skills in English and Slovak.

• People manager: experience leading a team to achieve individual and shared goals in a client facing role.

• Solid analytical skills: ability to interpret and present data to generate insights and support decision-making.

• Never-settle mentality: proven track record of client success and consistently achieving critical metrics and revenue targets.

• Commercial vein: ability to build and maintain long term professional relationships with business partners using listening, negotiation and persuasion skills.

• Ownership: ability proactively find solutions to business problems.

• Passion: drive to work with new technologies or with food tech

• Excellent communicator: ability to effectively communicate with many stakeholders involved.

• Outstanding project manager: capable managing multiple projects, resources, priorities and time.
