POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining retail store technologies, computer systems and peripherals, within retail store and commercial business environments. They are responsible to perform a full workload of product installation, support services and repair on Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions and non-TOSHIBA retail products and in the store systems, retail banking and SMB marketplaces (i.e., apparel stores, supermarkets, mass merchandising, specialty shops, banks, local insurance agents, CPAs, legal firms, etc.). The Associate Field Service Technician is accountable for customer satisfaction, metrics attainment and operational activities as required for the services provided.  The services include some or all the following:  whole product and/or component exchange and on-premises basic product & store equipment problem diagnosis, adjustment and/or repair.  The Associate Field Service Technician may also perform equipment refurbishment, installation, relocation, discontinuance, product level engineering and configuration changes, upgrades and/or modifications, to products using well established documentation and procedures. Candidate will work under supervision until trained and capable of working in an unsupervised fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates in assigned territory and performs basic repairs and services on products, including problem determination utilizing well established, standard maintenance packages, diagnostics, reference documentation, system tools and service aids in identifying routine problems.  Is also capable of performing a basic level of diagnostics and repair but may require occasional assistance from more experienced SRs to carry out difficult product repair activities. Uses established procedures and/or instructions for repetitive and/or routine work, works on tasks individually or as a part of a team.
• May travel within assigned territory or nationally to customer locations to perform installations, relocation, discontinuance, product level engineering and configuration changes, upgrades and/or modifications to retail POS equipment.
• Effectively communicates with customers, management, peers, and team members on a timely basis regarding status of work, potential problems, customer/store management satisfaction, and to seek advice and assistance. Builds positive customer relationships with product end-user and customer project and/or store management.
• Effectively manages the situation and completes the service event in a high quality and timely manner to meet customer commitments and minimize disruptions to the customer's operation
• With assistance, plans, prioritizes, and schedules work to meet or exceed customer Service Level objectives. Arrange all travel plans in a timely cost-effective manner using company approved business tools and ability to respond to schedule changes with minimal notice. Flexibility to work varying shifts including overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Ensure installation activities are accurately documented in accordance with TOSHIBA standards and practices using automated systems and/or established reports. This includes but is not limited to air travel, call, mileage, timecards, and expense reports.
• Effectively maintain and manage trunk stock to support all customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.

What You’ll Do

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

Trader Responsibilities: 

• Primary responsibility for the trading functions within the firm as part of the trading team, including trading mutual funds, equities, options, and individual bonds in client accounts to ensure adherence with our recommended model portfolios.
• Analyze, create, and execute trades in client portfolios to bring into alignment with investment allocations.
• Process simple and complex tax trading requests for gain/losses at advisors’ requests.
• Monitor market conditions and execute trades in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work closely with the operations team to resolve trade-related issues and discrepancies. 
• Proactively analyze clients’ portfolio allocation to determine if they are within tolerance bands.

Qualifications and Experience:  

• One to three years of industry experience, strongly preferred, particularly within an RIA.  
• Eclipse experience, preferred. 
• Experience working in a Portfolio Management System, Orion or Black Diamond preferred.  
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Options trading experience, preferred.
• Experience with portfolio rebalancing and tax loss harvesting.  
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.  
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.  
• Series 65 preferred. Willingness to obtain Series 65 within 12 months if not already certified.

We are looking to add a Business Development Officer to our growing team. The Business Development Officer will play a central role in the firm’s growth by supporting a team of advisors across several Waverly offices. This individual will own the front end of the business development pipeline, driving prospecting activity, nurturing strategic referral relationships, and helping guide prospective clients through the discovery and proposal process. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who combines relationship-building skills with a strong understanding of wealth advisory services, a proven track record of success, and a passion for helping others. 

Business Development Officer Responsibilities: 

Prospecting & Advisor Collaboration 

• Partner with advisors to identify and engage prospective clients through targeted outreach and strategic campaigns. 

• Qualify leads and match validated prospects with the appropriate Waverly advisor based on need, location, and specialty. 

• Assist advisors with proposal preparation, presentation materials, and support throughout the prospect-to-client journey. 

• Help implement systems to track and optimize advisor business development pipelines. 

Referral Relationship Management 

• Serve as the firm’s liaison with key localized referral sources including custodians, CPAs, estate attorneys, and other professional partners. 

• Maintain and strengthen existing referral relationships while developing new high-quality referral channels. 

• Track referral activity and support joint initiatives with external partners. 

Event Planning & Execution 

• Collaborate on the design and execution of business development events across Waverly markets in conjunction with the Marketing department, including: 

• Client-hosted referral events 

• Strategic networking events 

• Educational sessions for prospects and centers of influence 

• Manage event logistics, outreach, attendance tracking, and post-event follow-up. 

Sales Operations & Reporting 

• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and engagement in the firm’s CRM system.

• Report on business development KPIs and contribute to continual process improvement. 

• Support onboarding of new advisors by educating them on the firm’s growth resources.

Required Qualifications and Skills:  

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.

Waverly Advisors is seeking an Estate Planning Consultant to join our growing, multi-state RIA, with a strong preference for candidates based in Birmingham, AL. This role works closely with Wealth Advisors and Senior Estate Planning Consultants to review, coordinate, and implement estate planning strategies, with a primary focus on detailed document analysis and implementation support. The position also coordinates with clients and outside estate planning attorneys to ensure documents are accurate, complete, and aligned with client intent, and does not provide legal advice. 

Estate Planning Consultant Responsibilities: 

• Review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and beneficiary designations, to ensure alignment with client goals and planning strategies. 

• Prepare detailed estate plan summaries, flowcharts, and implementation checklists for internal and client use. 

• Identify inconsistencies, outdated provisions, or gaps in estate planning documents and escalate findings to senior planning staff. 

• Coordinate with estate planning attorneys to track document drafts, revisions, and execution. 

• Assist with estate plan implementation, including account titling reviews and beneficiary alignment. 

• Maintain accurate and organized estate planning records in CRM and document management systems.
