We are seeking a Payload Operations Engineer responsible for operating AST satellite payload subsystems to support constellation service and in-orbit testing. This is primarily a day-staff shift position at the AST Satellite Operations Centers (SOCs), with occasional weekend, holiday, and on-call support to provide 24x7 payload operations.

Key Responsibilities

Payload Operations & Monitoring

• Operate payload tools to create configuration items required for in-orbit testing (IOT) and commercial service.

• Monitor service/test automation and analyze results through telemetry and log evaluation.

• Coordinate payload system configuration changes to maintain commercial service levels.

• Monitor and process payload subsystem telemetry data to ensure subsystem health, including power, thermal, and RF performance.

• Maintain situational awareness of satellite, payload, and ground configuration and status.

Tool & Software Support

• Support development of payload operations tools for efficient automated tasks.

• Work with tool developers for functionality updates and payload software updates.

• Operate SOC operations software tools.

• Support development of automated operations tools.

Coordination & Troubleshooting

• Coordinate troubleshooting with SOC, Network Operations Center (NOC), and subsystem engineers to resolve service issues.

• Participate in daily shift handover briefings.

• Support mission product development including procedure development, testing, and validation.

• Support system readiness, planning, and preparation for satellite in-orbit milestones.

• Attend required training sessions, simulations, rehearsals, conferences, and program reviews.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM field).

Experience:

• A minimum of 0–2 years (or equivalent experience); Master’s degree or additional experience preferred.

• Technical understanding of satellite system architecture and subsystem functionality.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in an evolving system environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with satellite communication payloads.

• Multi-satellite LEO constellation experience.

Scopely is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our Information Security team in Spain/Portugal on a hybrid basis.

Our security team is dedicated to ensuring the security of our top games. This involves collaborating closely with game studios to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies throughout the game design and development lifecycle.

In addition, this role will drive the application of AI to transform how security is delivered across Product Security, Security Operations, and Security Engineering, improving efficiency, scalability, and impact.

What You Will Do

Game & Product Security Leadership

• Partner with game studios to develop comprehensive security strategies for game design and development
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security audits across all phases of game development

The team:

• The goal of the Payments team is to enable revenue generation for the entire Proton ecosystem. This comes in the form of introducing new payment methods for users to architecting our client libraries. This team has impact across all of Proton's products and is critical to the success of the business as a whole.
• Drive Foundation is the backbone of Proton Drive. We develop the Proton Drive SDKs, the core of all of Proton Drive's client applications as well as the cornerstone of Drive into other Proton applications, businesses, and 3rd parties. We ensure that cross-client and backend initiatives are executed with consistency and correctness; we also build and maintain the core documentation for Drive and define the architectural roadmap to evolve Drive's technology, both server-side and client-side.

• We use standard tools for communication and work organization (Git, GitLab, GitHub, GitLab CI, Jira, Confluence). Languages we see daily is C# and TypeScript. We also need to provide bindings for Swift and Kotlin, and we plan to add Rust to avoid the need to have two SDK implementations. We use Grafana and Prometheus to instrument our SDK, Sentry to get details issues from the SDK usage, GitLab CI for running tests including e2e tests written using Playwright for both SDKs, or GitLab in general to work on the code base.

Purpose of the role: 

As a Senior Rust Developer on our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining components that power Proton Drive and Payments. You will work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, including backend API, web frontend, Mac, Windows, and Android/iOS mobile developers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across various client applications.

The role:

As an engineer on our small Windows VPN team, you will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and evolving Proton’s applications on Windows. You will be involved in the entire application lifecycle, from feature design and implementation to CI/CD configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational incident response. • Lead a team of Engineers, setting clear expectations and providing continuous feedback, coaching, and mentoring to ensure success and growth
• Working closely with feature owners, economy, liveops and other development teams to implement feature simulations and technological pipelines for Monopoly GO!
• Driving the implementation of systems that transform raw game data into analytical datasets for simulation and evaluation

• Writing automated, high-quality tests (unit, integration, load, etc.) and working with QA teams to improve gameplay experience, curtail exploits and ensure that everything works smoothly
• Reviewing Technical Design Documents and provide feedback and guidance to other engineers
• Collaborating and communicating with cross-functional departments including: economy, liveops, qa, etc.

• Contributing to technical plans and discussing the workflows and requirements with stakeholders
• Implementing tools to empower our liveops and game design teams in the creation of new and exciting game-play experiences
• Explore AI-assisted tools (LLMs, copilots, automation frameworks) to improve productivity, enhance analysis depth, and accelerate iteration cycles

• 6+ years as part of a professional game development team or other relevant area
• Experience managing people, driving 1:1s and performance reviews, doing follow ups and providing regular feedback to direct reports
• Experience driving and leading the technical execution of complex and interdisciplinary developments
• Mastery of C#, Python or another OO language, including experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming paradigms
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP...) and low-latency, high-scale distributed systems
• Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms)
• Strong understanding of game framework architecture at scale, maintainability over time, robust API design, etc.
• Strong knowledge of application design best patterns and practices; understanding of maintainability concerns when designing and implementing applications
• Enjoy solving complex technical problems, especially in large systems

Scopely is looking for a Web Tools Backend Engineer to serve on and elevate our new casual game, Monopoly GO!  team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do

As a Web Tools Backend Engineer, you will help build and evolve the backend systems that power our internal tools, with a strong focus on configuration workflows, tooling reliability, and developer efficiency. You will work primarily in C# backend development, designing and maintaining the services, APIs, and data flows that enable game teams to manage live game content safely and efficiently.

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems for internal tools used to configure and operate live game features
• Develop APIs, services, and supporting workflows to enable safe, scalable configuration management
• Partner with game teams, product managers, and internal users to understand operational needs and translate them into robust backend solutions
• Improve the reliability, maintainability, and observability of internal tooling systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions through code reviews, helping raise the engineering bar across the team
• Help define best practices for backend development, service design, and configuration handling
• Support the evolution of tooling platforms that improve development speed and reduce operational risk for live game teams
• Mentor other engineers through technical guidance, pair programming, and collaborative problem solving

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in C# backend development, building services, APIs, and internal tooling
• Experience designing and maintaining server-side systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll:

Your team is empowered to take ownership of the user experience to support our coaches and athletes.
• Test new ideas. At Hudl, we iterate rapidly, deploying changes to the product hundreds of times daily across our Engineering team. In addition to working on concrete features, you’ll have the opportunity to propose solutions to more ambiguous technical problems and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Mentor. You’ll share your expertise and educate others on development best practices and trade-offs, setting an example in planning, designing and delivering complex projects. 

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in London. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.
