The Full Stack Engineering Department builds the Agoda web and app products. We have several teams in front-end focusing on different aspects of our products including accommodations, flights, payments, marketing, post-booking services, and more. Agoda’s marketplace is the world. We build localized and optimized user experiences at scale on every major internet platform. These include our mobile websites, native apps, and desktop sites. We hire people from around the world who have a passion for using technology to create and implement the best user experiences. Our teams work on the full stack and build end-to-end systems including user interfaces, APIs, backend systems, and database systems. Our products are always evolving and under experimentation. We accomplish this by having an amazing degree of automation, CI/CD systems, and use a modularized approach. The Opportunity: 

We are looking for key contributors to our industry leading iOS app.  You'll be working on a product that has evolved tremendously over the past few years to become a global market leader - but still has a lot of room to grow.   

You’ll be using the most current technologies and best practices to accomplish our goals. Our typical day involves the creation of new end to end systems, building advanced architectures, creation of new features on our high uptime / frequently published App, development of fast and reliable automated testing systems and working in a culture that is always looking to improve our quality, tools, and efficiency.  

In this Role, you get to do :  

• Designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications, that integrate with the platform's core services and APIs  

• Working closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to define requirements, design features, and deliver a cohesive user experience  

• Establishing and enforcing best practices for app testing and quality assurance  

• Identifying and implementing opportunities for optimization across the technology stack, focusing on cost, efficiency, velocity & dev happiness  

• Enabling impactful collaboration and cross-team projects on big projects, making a dent in the quality of our services, code & architecture  

• Providing thoughtful feedback, nurture an inclusive engineering environment, and champion engineering fundamentals. Bring out the best from your fellow engineers.  
• Exhibiting technical leadership throughout the broader organization, conveying complex technical trade-offs to non-techies such as business owners & C-suite executives.  

What you'll Need to Succeed:  

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering roles. 

• Proficient in iOS native development (Swift, Objective-C) and cross-platform programming languages (Dart, JavaScript) 

• Proven hands-on experience with owning production services with significant impact on design, development, deployment, monitoring & evolution  

• Curiosity, staying on the cutting-edge of technological improvements and open-source advancement.  

• Advanced proficiency in modern App development frameworks and architectural choices  

• Highly skilled in modern mobile and server-side coding and design practices, such as MVVM, MVP, VIPER, SOLID principles, and TDD 

• Advanced understanding of cross-platform technology usage in mobile App development like React Native, Web-views, flutter etc. 

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, analytics, A/B testing, and GIT Flow. 

• Deep understanding of app development challenges and solutions 

• Expert-level knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices 

• Proven track record of optimizing applications for better performance  

• Strong understanding of security and accessibility standards  

• Demonstrates strong research skills and sound decision-making on complex projects  

• Equally effective working independently or collaboratively within a team 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details to stakeholders at all levels.  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

It's Great if you have: 

• Experience in multiple platforms including iOS, Android, Web, and API services 
• Have worked on an App or Internet company that is at scale with large numbers of users and transactions per second 
• Have experience in a data driven company with experience analyzing and working with Big Data 
• Lead teams and greenfield projects solving large system problems 
• Worked on global projects serving world markets with distributed data centers and localization of the front end and data 

This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand (Relocation Provided)

Cooperative Internship Period: January - May 2026 OR August - December 2026

The Opportunity:

As a full-stack engineer on an agile team, you will get to experience various parts of Agoda systems that handle millions of users every day, ranging from frontend (both Web and App platforms) to backend, including data and infrastructure.

In this Role, you'll get to: 

• Be part of an agile product team that do hypothesis driven development.
• Visualizing product usage using data in Hadoop.
• Use A/B Testing and make product related decisions based on data.
• Develop User Interfaces with our frontend technology (React / Redux / Typescript).
• Contribute to Agoda mobile apps using advanced architectures and test methodologies.
• Develop RESTful / GraphQL APIs (C# / Scala).
• Create real-time monitoring for the production system you have built.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

• Studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or any related fields
• Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.
• Coding skill in any language e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Swift, Kotlin.
• Able to understand and communicate ideas clearly with team members.

It's Great if you have:

• Experience in any form of data persistence (RDBMSs, NoSQL).
• Some understanding of modern frontend or mobile technology e.g. React, Vue, Angular, Flutter, Native iOS and Android Apps.
• Experience with automated CI/CD systems, test driven development, clean software architectures and SOLID principals.
• GitHub profile especially contributing to open source projects.
