About the Role

Specialist Engineer, Advanced Technical Support, Public Cloud is expected to bring a high level of technical knowledge of both 3rd party products and Veeam products with a focus in the Veeam Backup for AWS, Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure, and Veeam Backup for Google Cloud, Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft Azure offerings, communicate effectively, collaborate efficiently with other team members to improve team knowledge and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, as well as provide technically complex client support for Veeam’s products via the telephone and email.

What You’ll Do

Karya is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Developer to join the Karya Learn Team. In this role, you will translate instructional blueprints into clear, engaging, and accessible learning materials designed for adult learners with varying literacy and digital skill levels.

You will work closely with the Instructional Designer and Head of Learning to bring learning modules to life—writing scripts, exercises, and assessments that make digital skilling intuitive and motivating. Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging learning content, scripts, and copy based on the instructional design framework provided by the Learn Team.

About the Role
Karya is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Content team. In this role, you will design and develop innovative digital learning experiences tailored for adult learners with limited digital exposure. Your work will directly contribute to upskilling thousands of Karya workers in India and enabling their participation in the global AI workforce.

You will be responsible for creating engaging, user-friendly learning content delivered via the Karya app. Working closely with UX teams, researchers, and technologists, you will translate complex tasks into clear, accessible instructional modules. The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design frameworks, and a passion for creating impact through digital education.

Location & Reporting
This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
This role reports to the Associate Head – Learning & Content. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for field testing or user research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop digital learning modules aligned with Karya’s skill development roadmap for AI-related work (e.g., transcription, image annotation, content evaluation).
• Convert complex digital tasks into accessible, bite-sized learning experiences suitable for low-literacy and low-tech learners.
• Collaborate with the learning lead, content writers, and UX/UI designers to ensure modules are pedagogically sound and visually engaging.
• Design storyboards, assessments, quizzes, and feedback tools to track learner progress and engagement.
• Contribute to pilot testing and user feedback loops to continuously improve the effectiveness and clarity of instructional content.
• Ensure alignment of content with adult learning principles, especially for underserved, first-time digital users.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in any field. Master’s degree preferred. 
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development, with at least 2 years of experience designing for mobile based content.
• Prior experience in the edtech, nonprofit, or workforce skilling space is highly desirable.
