About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Technical Writer with leadership capabilities to manage documentation initiatives across product lines, drive process excellence, mentor writers, and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX, and Release teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience in technical content development, hands-on expertise with documentation tools and automation platforms, and an ability to leverage AI-driven content acceleration to scale the documentation function.

This role requires someone who can balance hands-on writing, people management, and strategic enablement, ensuring documentation is accurate, consistent, discoverable, and aligned with product vision.

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead a team of technical writers, providing guidance on writing standards, structure, and best practices.
• Own end-to-end documentation strategy across multiple product lines (SaaS, on-prem).
• Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineering Leads, and Release Managers to ensure timely, high-quality documentation.
• Define documentation processes, review templates, style guides, and standards for consistency.
• Support cross-functional initiatives such as onboarding experience, knowledge base development, and customer-facing documentation content.

Documentation & Technical Writing

• Create, review, and maintain high-quality technical content including product guides, Release Notes, KB articles etc
• Translate complex technical concepts (Networking, Cloud, Security, DevOps, Automation, etc.) into clear, simple, audience-appropriate documentation.
• Ensure content accuracy, readability, and alignment with product behavior and branding standards.
• Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online videos, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques.
• Passion for continuous learning, AI enablement, and modern documentation practices.
• Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement.

AI-Driven Documentation & Automation

• Use GenAI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Writer, etc.) to accelerate drafting, content summarization, quality checks, and content reuse.
• Implement AI-assisted documentation workflows (content repurposing, translation, metadata tagging).
• Contribute to structured content frameworks and knowledge models to enable future AI-driven documentation.
• Evaluate documentation automation tools and propose improvements for scale, accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

The Role:

You’ll own end-to-end video editing across formats, short-form, long-form, organic, paid, product, and brand. From raw footage to final output, you’ll shape how Emergent looks, feels, and performs across platforms. This is not just about clean edits, you’ll bring storytelling, pacing, retention, and platform-native thinking to every video. Your work will directly influence how millions of users understand and engage with Emergent.

What You’ll Do:

1. Edit high-quality videos across social, product, performance ads, launches, events, and brand campaigns
2. Create platform-native content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube and paid channels.
3. Work closely with organic, performance, product marketing, and leadership teams to translate ideas into strong video assets.
4. Edit founder-led content, product explainers, customer stories, event recaps, and ad creatives.
5. Bring strong storytelling, pacing, structure, sound design, captions, and visual rhythm to every edit.

About the role

HackerRank's Content Studio is building a production function that moves at the speed of ideas. As our Video Editor, you'll own the full post-production process across formats and platforms, from LinkedIn clips and YouTube explainers to event highlights and executive content. This is not a support role. You'll be a creative decision-maker who ships finished work, uses AI tools to compress timelines, and raises the bar on what in-house video can look and feel like.

What you’ll do

• Edit across formats, including short-form social, long-form YouTube, event recaps, and product content, adapting pacing and energy for each platform without a separate brief
• Work directly from raw footage, rough briefs, or messy transcripts and make confident creative calls without needing hand-holding
• Use AI-powered tools (Runway, Descript, Kapwing, Remotion, or equivalents) to reduce turnaround time while maintaining quality

Join our dynamic team as a Motion Graphic Designer, where you'll work on major advertising campaigns for a leading fashion brand, based in South Africa satellite studio. Reporting to the Lead Editor, you'll closely collaborate with global and regional teams, producing impactful, high-end content.

We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Graphic Designer with previous adaptation experience working on global brand moving image campaigns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro and Media Encoder with a strong understanding of animation principles and design aesthetics. Ideally the candidate will have experience working with expressions and automation workflows to streamline the production process. A comprehensive understanding of common social media, DOOH, Online Video, TV and Cinema specifications is a must.
