Due to significant growth, and the need to service our valued clients across the region, we are looking for an experienced, Full-time, Field Services Technician, to be based out of our Minto office and servicing the regional NSW.
The role
You will play a pivotal role in installing, maintaining, and monitoring Verra Mobility’s advanced road safety systems, including fixed and mobile speed cameras across the Greater NSW region. This is a highly mobile, hands-on position that combines mechanical precision with technical problem-solving in software and networking, often working at heights and outdoors across diverse environments. As part of our NSW Maintenance Program, you’ll be on the frontline ensuring our life-saving technology operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safer communities across the state.
This permanent, full-time role is based out of our Minto office and requires working to an established roster across weekdays and occasional weekends, including public holidays and irregular out-of-hours field work. You’ll also support compliance and reporting requirements from the office.

As a Field Robotics Engineer at Carbon Robotics, traditionally called a Field Services Technician, you are responsible for ensuring customer success via successful implementation and support of Carbon Robotics Equipment. You'll be responsible for owning, scheduling, and prioritizing maintenance tasks on the LaserWeeders as well as owning and ensuring successful implementations. This includes training of operators, making usage recommendations based on agronomic knowledge and implementing set up. You will also act as a liaison to engineering and product departments by communicating customer wishes and complaints, equipment performance and pain points or bottlenecks. You will also support our Sales organization with scheduled demos and site visits as needed. You'll be an expert with our Laserweeder!
