The Opportunity
The Controls Specialist III serves as a senior technical authority within the controls organization, providing advanced expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of Building Automation Systems (BAS). This role leads complex, large-scale system integrations, drives technical excellence across projects, and supports the development of internal capabilities through mentorship and standardization of best practices. Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Project Execution:
• Lead the implementation of large-scale, multi -system BAS projects from startup through commissioning.
• Architect and develop control strategies, sequences of operation, and system designs for complex applications.
• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system optimization to ensure peak performance.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues across projects and service work.
Commissioning & Quality Assurance
• Lead commissioning efforts, ensuring systems are installed, programmed, and functioning according to design specifications.
• Validate system performance and ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.

Standardization & Continuous Improvement

The Required Profile
• Advanced expertise in DDC programming, system architecture, and controls design.
• Proficiency in multi-protocol system integration, including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Strong knowledge of IP-based networking and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with energy analytics, system optimization, and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of HVAC mechanical systems and their integration with BAS platforms.
• 6 – 10+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS).

Work Environment
This position operates in both office and field environments, with significant time spent at customer sites, construction locations, and mechanical rooms. Work maybe performed in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and conditions typical of commercial and industrial facilities. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during site visits.

GLG's Senior Associate, Event Marketing sits within the Marketing function and is responsible for marketing GLG's events to the right clients at the right time. Day-to-day, the Events Specialist partners closely with event programmers, content leads, and marketing operations to plan campaign strategy, develop promotional copy, target the right client audiences, and drive RSVPs and attendance.

Key Responsibilities
Client outreach and audience development
• Conduct daily direct email to clients to drive attendance and engagement across all event types

Required Skills
Potential candidates must possess:
• Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience, or certification(s) in a related industry
• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in marketing, email marketing, or campaign management, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment
• Demonstrated experience executing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and performance reporting
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, with Marketo experience strongly preferred

Position Overview
GLG's Senior Associate, Event Marketing sits within the Marketing function and is responsible for marketing GLG's events to the right clients at the right time. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily direct email to clients to drive attendance and engagement across all event types

• Track and report on email and outreach campaign performance against standard marketing metrics -- open rates, click-through rates, RSVP and conversion rates, unsubscribes -- and translate insights into improvements
Event project and logistical support
• Support the operational management of multiple concurrent meetings and events, including strategic scheduling across industry programs
• Research and suggest alternative GLG Network Members to align expert lineups with content and audience needs
• Provide workflow support and serve as a back-up to Event Managers as needed
• Track project-level budget and ROI inputs tied to outreach and marketing activity
Required Skills
Potential candidates must possess:
• Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience, or certification(s) in a related industry
• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in marketing, email marketing, or campaign management, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment
• Demonstrated experience executing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and performance reporting
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, with Marketo experience strongly preferred
