About the Role
Roku is seeking a Senior Contracts Negotiator with a passion for technology and innovation to be part of a high-performing and collaborative legal team. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Business & Legal Affairs, you will negotiate complex technology agreements that support Roku’s business and technical operations, often addressing topics such as data privacy, information security, intellectual property, and emerging technologies, including AI.
This position is a hybrid role, Monday – Thursday in office with the option to work from home on Friday. This position based in either Boston, MA, San Jose, CA or Austin, TX.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $144,500 – $170,000 base salary. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What You Will Be Doing
- Negotiate, draft and close commercial agreements, including cloud services agreements, SaaS, artificial intelligence solutions, professional services, non-disclosure agreements and data privacy agreements, with a solution-driven mindset.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing templates, playbooks, and CLM tools to develop scalable processes for the contracting process, including the use of AI tools and other technologies
- Collaborate with your Roku legal colleagues to provide guidance to internal business partners on a wide variety of contract-related issues, including data privacy, security, confidentiality and artificial intelligence
- Be proactive, organized, and dependable — you take initiative, communicate early and clearly, and keep internal business partners informed as deals progress.

We Are Excited if You Have
- At least 7 years of experience structuring and negotiating commercial technology agreements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- A proven ability to draft and negotiate agreements using existing templates and playbooks or from scratch
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to persuade
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-department and cross-functional role
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS and cloud services contracts, including data privacy and security terms
- Experience with Ironclad, SharePoint, DocuSign, and Confluence.
- Experience using AI to streamline the contract lifecycle
- A great sense of humor and a customer-service mindset

About the role
We are seeking a Vice President, Deputy General Counsel to lead Roku's global strategic litigation and intellectual property function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining litigation strategy, overseeing the Company's full litigation portfolio, and guiding the development and protection of Roku's intellectual property.
You will operate at the intersection of legal strategy and business execution—helping leaders make informed, risk-based decisions while ensuring the Company handles disputes with clarity, consistency, and discipline. This role reports to the General Counsel and serves as a key advisor to senior leadership on litigation posture, IP strategy, and legal risk.
This role requires a combination of strategic judgment, operational leadership, and business pragmatism, with the ability to build scalable systems and influence outcomes across a complex, fast-moving organization.
What you'll be doing
Global litigation leadership
- Own Roku's global litigation portfolio end-to-end, including IP disputes, commercial litigation, regulatory matters, and consumer/class actions
- Define and drive litigation strategy, including when to litigate, settle, or escalate matters based on business impact
Litigation strategy and operating model
- Build and implement a repeatable litigation operating system, including intake, early case assessment, playbooks, and post-mortems
- Establish consistent frameworks for decision-making, prioritization, and risk management
Intellectual property leadership
- Oversee Roku's IP portfolio, including patent strategy, prosecution oversight, and alignment with product and business priorities
- Guide defensive and offensive IP strategy in partnership with internal teams and external counsel
Outside counsel and cost management
- Develop and manage a disciplined outside counsel program, including staffing models, fee structures, and performance expectations
- Drive strategic cost control while maintaining high-quality legal outcomes
Cross-functional partnership
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Ads, Finance, and executive leadership to proactively reduce legal risk and inform key business decisions
- Translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders
Governance and risk management
- Strengthen litigation governance practices, including discovery processes, document retention, and compliance frameworks
- Ensure scalable systems are in place to support litigation and regulatory requirements
Executive reporting and insights
- Provide clear, decision-ready reporting on litigation exposure, trends, and key matters to executive leadership and the Board

About This Role:
We’re looking for a business-minded in-house attorney to support contracting across our technology, vendor, and insurance distribution partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys negotiating complex agreements, improving processes, and translating legal risk into practical business guidance.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Procurement, Technology, Marketing, Compliance, and Insurance teams to help Hippo grow responsibly and efficiently in a highly regulated P&C environment. This is an individual contributor role for someone who enjoys owning their work, improving systems, and operating close to the business.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Commercial & Distribution Contracting
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including SaaS and AI agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and producer/carrier distribution agreements
- Advise stakeholders on contractual risk, regulatory considerations, and business implications
- Partner with internal teams to align contract structure with business goals
- Independently manage a high volume of commercial and distribution agreements from intake through execution, balancing speed and risk
- Provide clear, concise risk assessments and recommended paths forward to internal stakeholders
- Escalate non-standard or high-risk issues appropriately while proposing practical solutions
Own & Improve Contracting Operations
- Serve as a key point of contact for contracting workflow and process improvements
- Maintain and update templates, playbooks, and standard forms
- Establish and track contracting metrics to improve turnaround time and reduce risk exposure
- Identify recurring friction points in contracting and implement scalable solutions to improve turnaround time and consistency
- Contribute to the development of playbooks, fallback positions, and self-service tools for business partners
Enable Compliant Growth
- Provide guidance on 50-state insurance regulations and federal/state consumer protection laws (e.g., TCPA, FCRA)
- Support marketing reviews with practical, compliant recommendations
- Advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related considerations in vendor and technology agreements
Partner Across the Organization
- Collaborate with legal colleagues on regulatory and compliance initiatives
- Support training and cross-functional education
- Translate complex legal concepts into actionable, business-friendly advice
- Build strong working relationships with Procurement, Technology, and Insurance teams to proactively address legal considerations early in the contracting lifecycle
Must Haves:
- J.D. and active U.S. bar license

Origis is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as our Director, Talent Engagement. In this high-impact role, you’ll be a trusted advisor, employee advocate, and strategic thought partner to our Managing Director of Talent & Culture and leaders across the organization.
This is an autonomous, individual-contributor role with a true player-coach feel: you’ll help shape people strategy while also supporting day-to-day needs. You bring firsthand experience supporting field-based teams—and you know how to advocate for their needs from an office setting, with thoughtful, intentional time in the field as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent priorities.

We’re hiring a strategic Director of Public Policy to design and deliver our multi‑state legislative and regulatory agenda. You are equal parts policy entrepreneur, coalition builder, and execution athlete. Primary mandate: offense (expand TAM) and defense (mitigate adverse bills); secondary: administrative/regulatory wins and data transparency.
Responsibilities:
Set the strategy
- Develop a 2–3 year legislative and regulatory roadmap that expands market access and improves homeowner outcomes across current states and new priority states identified through discovery.
- Prioritize high‑leverage levers: statutes, rules, attorney general opinions, comptroller guidance, appraisal district/ARB procedures, data access, and pilots.
- Define the policy thesis and narrative that resonates with legislators, regulators, and homeowner groups.
