Veterinary Technician

Salary: $17-$20 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This position offers a consistent two-week rotating schedule with four shifts per week. Shift start times may be as early as 7:00 AM and end as late as 6:00 PM, depending on the needs of the clinic, with shift lengths ranging from 7–10 hours. Alternating Saturdays are required, and the clinic is closed on Sundays.

THE JOB

As a Sonographer, your focus is on ultrasound support for VEG hospitals and training facilities. This means working closely with our emergency doctors to provide same-day ultrasound scans for pets when they need it most. You’ll deal with a variety of patient types and scans, so being comfortable adapting to new scenarios and willing to learn new techniques and think outside the box are all part of your day-to-day. You’ll also assist in coordinating education opportunities and overall ultrasound training for your home and regional hospitals, inspire and motivate your fellow VEGgies to grow their ultrasound skills, and be ready to pitch in at the hospital whenever and wherever needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate ultrasound training at your home hospital and regional hospitals

• Ensure all training content and activities are in alignment with VEG culture, mission, and vision, and represent accurate, up-to-date sonographic techniques

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting & Analytics: Regularly review and report on sales targets, campaign performance, and key metrics to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the account management, and product teams to align on campaign strategies, creative assets, and ad placements that meet clients’ needs.
• Performance Management: Strategically use CRM and prospecting tools to manage and achieve quotas as it pertains to activity metrics and revenue goals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in digital media sales, advertising, or a related industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and industry trends, including programmatic, streaming media, display, video, social, and content marketing
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to interpret data and analytics to provide actionable insights
• Self-motivated, with a passion for sales and digital media
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ad management tools a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working with business owners and/or agency clients
• Knowledge of streaming and digital media
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, DSPs, and SSPs.

KVUE-TV, the TEGNA ABC station in Austin is looking for a highly skilled artistic Photojournalist who can create shareable and exciting content for television, social media and mobile.  We want a photojournalist who can tell great stories on their own or with a team.  Our ideal candidates are familiar with the latest photography, editing tools, and techniques. They create unique and exciting content on all platforms. They are proficient with live news-gathering tools and are able to participate in live performance on-air and on live streaming when necessary. 

Current driver's license and ability to operate news gathering vehicle to and from various locations is required.

Responsibilities: 

• Passion for capturing video & audio elements that produce compelling and engaging news, sports, features and documentary-style stories in a daily deadline environment.
• Operate an ENG truck or IP video-based live unit (TVU) when assigned.
• Be assigned to either work in a team or solo for daily news assignments. 
• Attend editorial meetings, participate in discussions, and suggest story ideas. 
• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories. 

Requirements:
