About the team

The Solutions Architecture Team partners with our users to realize their full potential through the adoption of prescriptive solutions that drive their growth and success. We influence revenue growth across Stripe’s product portfolio, and collaborate with sales, support, product management, and Stripe’s executive team to provide the best experience to our most valued customers.

What you’ll do

As a member of the team, the Solutions Architect will build highly consultative trusted relationships with c-level executives and technical decision makers in the customer’s organization to provide business and technical thought leadership, and become a trusted advisor in solving mission-critical business challenges. She/he will architect business models with them so they can drive new monetization opportunities and growth for both the user and Stripe.

Responsibilities

Be a key member of a Stripe account team with deep involvement in defining the customer strategy
Identify and close new complex opportunities, and accelerate solution adoption. Understand and align with the customer’s product and business roadmap and uncover opportunities for Stripe to accelerate their progress on that roadmap.
Drive thought leadership and be a trusted advisor for key business and technical stakeholders including CIO, CTO, COO, CRO, CDO, Head of Product Engineering and Head of Payments.
Work to deeply understand the customer’s business objectives, and then design and apply Stripe’s solutions to their challenges. Develop and articulate the end to end customer transformation journey and create future roadmaps and architectures with deep 3rd party integrations in play.
Conduct business analysis and background research on customers, industries, and competitors with a view to support growth for the user's business.
Lead strategy engagements with users to align to business priorities, design solutions and secure the technical win by performing in-depth customer discovery, evangelizing the proposed solutions through executive briefings, readouts, presentations, workshops and solution demos.
Expand Stripe’s footprint within existing accounts to new global markets and business units by introducing new capabilities and local payment methods.
Act as the “Voice of the Customer” to bring insights, trends and opportunities to the leadership, product and engineering teams from the forefront and prioritized for delivery.
Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews and account/territory planning to strategically and tactically align for success
Approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way with users and collaborate internally

Who you are

You have achieved an experienced position as an enterprise architect, senior solution architect or principal solution engineer and have a successful track record advising enterprise-grade digital native / SAAS / Platform / Marketplace companies, focused on identifying business priorities, formulating technology strategies and designing an end-to-end business solution. You possess deep technical acumen, high interpersonal and leadership skills, and have demonstrated the ability to become a trusted advisor to senior executives and facilitate customer success along the entire customer journey. Strategic and creative thinker who can proactively identify challenges, take ownership, and maintain a positive approach when facing difficult obstacles.

Minimum requirements

4+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
Experience in the payments/ billing / invoicing / issuing / banking / Fintech space
Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels.
Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing and pursue opportunities.
Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architectures. A background in writing code in any of Stripe’s primary deployment languages (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.) is a plus.
Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, presentation skills, and confident in explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to operate independently in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

The role

Nebius Serverless AI is our consumption-based compute platform for running AI workloads — training jobs, inference endpoints, and interactive development environments — without managing infrastructure. Users submit containerized workloads via CLI or UI, access GPU compute with pay-per-second billing, and the platform handles provisioning, lifecycle, and cleanup. We launched GA in Q1 2026 and are now scaling toward 1,000+ users while building the next generation of capabilities: autoscaling, multi-node distributed workloads, and developer-first tooling.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join the Serverless AI product team. Together you will divide ownership across the product surface — but individually, you will own your areas with full autonomy. This is not a role where you write requirements and hand them off. You will be the person who understands container runtimes, GPU scheduling, cold start optimization, and inference serving deeply enough to make correct technical trade-offs — and also the person who talks to customers, shapes the CLI experience, defines pricing, and drives adoption.

We are building the next generation of AI cloud — infrastructure designed from the ground up for GPU-intensive workloads, not retrofitted from legacy cloud. This is a lean, high-impact team where every person shapes the product directly. You need to be the kind of PM who amplifies engineering output by making the right calls on what to build and what to skip.

What success looks like in 12 months:

Serverless AI has clear product-market fit with measurable activation and retention metrics improving quarter over quarter.
Multi-node jobs and autoscaling endpoints are shipped and adopted by customers running production workloads.
Cold start time is reduced from 1-3 minutes to under 60 seconds for common workloads through a combination of product and infrastructure improvements you drove.
Developer experience (CLI, docs, error messages, onboarding flow) sets the standard that developers expect from a next-generation AI cloud.
At least 3 product decisions you made are directly attributable to customer conversations or data analysis you conducted.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Product Ownership

Co-own the Serverless AI product roadmap — Jobs, Endpoints, and DevPods — taking primary ownership of specific product areas while collaborating closely with the other PM on shared priorities and cross-cutting decisions.
Write detailed, technically precise PRDs that engineering teams can execute against. Our PRDs specify CLI syntax, API contracts, state machines, and billing models — not abstract feature descriptions.
Make build/buy/defer decisions on capabilities like autoscaling, multi-node orchestration, HTTPS termination, secret injection, and health checking based on customer signal and strategic priorities.

2. Technical Depth:

Understand the full workload lifecycle: container image pull → VM provisioning → GPU attachment → workload execution → cleanup — well enough to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Evaluate technical trade-offs in areas like container cold start optimization (image caching, snapshot restore, warm pools), GPU scheduling and bin-packing, and storage mount performance.
Work directly with engineers on architecture decisions for distributed training support, endpoint autoscaling policies, and fault tolerance mechanisms.
Stay current on the fast-moving serverless GPU infrastructure space — new inference frameworks (vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, SGLang), container runtimes, orchestration approaches — and translate trends into product direction.

3. Customer & Market:

Run customer discovery and feedback sessions with ML engineers and platform teams at AI startups and enterprises. Turn qualitative insight into specific product actions.
Analyze usage data, activation funnels, and churn patterns to identify where users get stuck and what features drive retention.
Track market dynamics, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform product strategy and ensure Nebius stays ahead of where the market is heading.
Define and iterate on pricing, packaging, and tier strategy for Serverless AI.

4. Go-to-Market:

Own the technical content strategy: quickstart guides, tutorials, reference architectures, and example workloads that reduce time-to-first-job.
Partner with marketing on developer-focused campaigns, webinars, and conference presence.
Work with Solution Architects and Sales to qualify serverless-fit opportunities and support technical evaluations.

Requirements

Non-negotiables — you must have hands-on experience with:

You have built, shipped, and iterated on infrastructure or platform products used by developers or ML engineers. Not consumer apps. Not dashboards. Infrastructure.
You understand containers at a practical level — Docker, image registries, container runtimes, resource limits, networking. You've debugged why a container won't start, why GPU isn't visible inside it, or why a mount isn't working.
You have working knowledge of GPU computing for AI/ML: what GPU types exist and when to use them, how training and inference workloads differ in resource requirements, what vLLM / TensorRT-LLM / Triton are and why they matter.
You can read a CLI reference and know if it's well-designed. You've shaped developer-facing APIs, CLIs, or SDKs.
You have run real customer discovery — not surveys, but technical conversations with engineers where you learned something that changed your product direction.
You have 3+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or developer tools.

Technical skills we will test in the interview:

Ability to whiteboard a workload lifecycle (submit → schedule → provision → execute → cleanup) and identify failure modes at each step.
Understanding of autoscaling trade-offs: scale-to-zero vs. warm pools, scaling metrics (queue depth, latency, utilization), cold start implications.
Familiarity with inference serving concepts: batching, model loading, quantization, KV-cache management, multi-model serving.
Understanding of distributed training concepts: data parallelism, model parallelism, communication overhead, checkpointing.
Ability to reason about pricing models: per-second vs. per-request vs. per-token, and how pricing interacts with product architecture.

It will be an added bonus if you have:

Experience at a serverless or GPU cloud company.
Hands-on ML engineering background — you've trained models, deployed inference endpoints, or built ML pipelines yourself.
Experience with Kubernetes for ML workloads (Kubeflow, KServe, Ray Serve) and understanding of why many ML teams want to avoid it.
Prior experience building a product from early stage to scale in a fast-growing market.
Background in systems engineering, distributed systems, or site reliability engineering.

Nebius is expanding across serverless, databases, MLflow, MLOps, Physical AI, and HCLS — and customers arriving with complex, real-world ML workloads need more than documentation. This role exists to close that gap: someone who can prototype what's possible, accelerate customers through their first 90 days, and feed hard-won field insight back into the product roadmap.
This role sits at the intersection of deep ML engineering and product impact. You'll spend roughly half your time in the field — helping new customers move from POC to production, running technical onboarding, and working hands-on through their ML stack. The other half you'll spend building — prototyping applied AI use cases that show what's possible on the platform, going deep on emerging techniques before they're mainstream, and turning that expertise into concrete product direction.
This is not a presales role. You get your hands dirty every day.

What success looks like in 12 months

The product and sales teams have a library of working, polished demos they reach for on calls
Enterprise customers you've touched have meaningfully faster time-to-value than those you haven't
At least 2–3 product changes were shipped because of feedback you originated
The team understands where applied AI is heading 6–12 months from now, partly because you told them

Your responsibilities will include:

Build prototypes and demos across the product portfolio — serverless inference, databases, MLflow, MLOps, and vertical use cases in Physical AI and HCLS — that become assets for sales, product, and engineering teams
Support new customers hands-on through POC design, technical onboarding, and validation; act as the bridge between their ML team and the platform during the critical first months
Go deep on emerging applied AI — new training techniques, inference optimizations, agentic architectures, new frameworks — and turn findings into working prototypes, writeups, and product recommendations
Feed the product roadmap with specific, grounded feedback; be the voice of "here's what broke in three customer POCs last month and here's what needs to change"
Develop reusable technical assets — notebooks, reference architectures, benchmark results — that reduce onboarding friction at scale

We expect you to have:

You've fine-tuned large models, debugged distributed training jobs, built production RAG or agentic pipelines, and optimized inference on GPU infrastructure — not just read about it
You're fluent in the modern ML stack: PyTorch, HuggingFace, CUDA fundamentals, Kubernetes for ML, MLflow or equivalent, vector databases
You've worked with enterprise ML teams — whether as a solutions engineer, customer engineer, or an ML engineer who collaborated closely with customers
You read papers and implement them — not for credit, but because it's how you stay sharp
You communicate with calibration: you can explain activation checkpointing tradeoffs to an ML engineer in the morning and the cost implication to a CTO in the afternoon

It will be an added bonus if you have:

Experience in any of our vertical domains: Physical AI / robotics / simulation, HCLS (drug discovery, medical imaging, clinical NLP), or enterprise AI application development
Familiarity with MLOps at scale (Kubeflow, Metaflow, Argo, Ray)
Prior work at a cloud provider or AI infrastructure company
You've shared technical work publicly — notebooks, talks, blog posts that people actually use

What You’ll Do

The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organisation is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and efficient adoption roadmaps for our customers. Solution Engineering is made up of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds - from Financial Consulting to Product Management, Customer Support to Software Engineering, and we are serious about building a diverse, curious and collaborative team.

As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare. You will aid your customers and will work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support to do so. Your goal of customer success should drive you through the entire organisation as you seek out and create scalable solutions for your customer’s needs.

Understanding of “how the internet works”. For example:

Know the differences between TCP & UDP, and understand what kinds of applications may favour one over the other;

You understand the role of a firewall, why TLS (SSL) plays an increasingly important role on today's Internet, a solid understanding of HTTP and a willingness to dive deeper into the quirks of clients & servers alike;

Understanding of how customers make buying decisions, how to explain ROI.
A knowledge of the competitive landscape for one or more of: DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platform or Zero-Trust/SASE service providers.
You're OK with some (10-15 days per quarter) travel without travel restrictions: we expect to travel to customer offices, conferences and/or do talks.

What you'll do as a Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect is a senior technical leadership role. You are a customer facing hands-on technologist with credibility built on domain expertise across Cloudflare portfolio.
