Sr. Solutions Architect (Lakewatch - EMEA) 

The Solutions Architect (Lakewatch) team executes on Databricks’ strategic Product Operating Model that provides enhanced focus on earlier stage, highly prioritized product lines in order to establish product market fit, and set the course for rapid revenue growth. They are part of a global go-to-market team mandate, though individually will cover a specific, local region.  Clients may span across one or more business units and verticals. By working in partnership with direct account teams, they will jointly engage clients, foster the necessary relationships, position in-depth the specific product line, so as to provide compelling reasons for clients to adopt and grow the usage of the given product.  They understand the appropriate approach, the guardrails, and the steps needed to successfully adopt the product line, as clients deliver on their business objectives.

The Solutions Architect (Lakewatch) is paired with an Account Executive aligned to the product line with specific targets accordingly. Together, they will devise and implement a strategy across their assigned set of accounts, develop presentations, demos and other assets and deliver them such that customers make an informed decision as they decide to adopt the product-line in a meaningful way.

The Lakewatch product-line requires the following core technical competencies:

• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, security operations (SecOps), or security architecture expertise, with a proven track record of designing and delivering customer-facing security solutions (of which 3+ years are in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role).
• Experience with design and implementation of data and AI applications in cybersecurity, including anomaly detection, behavioral analytics, and agentic AI workflows for triage and investigation.
• Deep familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or similar), including deployment, tuning, detection engineering, and migration strategies. Familiarity with SOAR platforms is also desirable.
• Strong understanding of the security telemetry landscape: endpoint (EDR/XDR), network (firewall, DNS, proxy), identity (Okta, Entra ID), cloud (AWS CloudTrail, Azure Activity Log, GCP Audit), and SaaS application logs. Familiarity with standards such as OCSF.
• Experience with “detection-as-code” workflows, including rule authoring in SQL or YAML, CI/CD integration for detection pipelines, and MITRE ATT&CK framework mapping.
• Credibility in influencing security analytics products with the market insight needed to shape and prioritize roadmap capabilities.

The impact you will have

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers to successful implementations on big data projects, ranging from architectural design to data engineering to model deployment
• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory, driving Lakewatch adoption from initial data offload through full SIEM augmentation or replacement.
• As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect building technical credibility with CISOs, security architects, SOC leadership, and security analysts to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops, POC execution, and developing customer-facing collateral that increases technical knowledge and demonstrates the value of an open agentic SIEM architecture.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical security environments.
• Establish and refine the sales qualification and POC intake process, ensuring well-scoped engagements that maximize customer success and minimize friction for R&D.

Competencies & Responsibilities

• 5+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level security strategy and product adoption.
• Experience with design and implementation of data and AI applications in cybersecurity, including anomaly detection, behavioral analytics, and agentic AI workflows for triage and investigation.
• Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python and with AI tools.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes in cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with an understanding of cloud-native security logging and monitoring.
• Deep experience in security operations, with broad familiarity across one or more of the following: data engineering, data warehousing, AI/ML for security, data governance, and streaming.
• Undergraduate degree (or higher) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar.

About the Role

Together AI is building the AI Acceleration Cloud, an end-to-end platform for the full generative AI lifecycle, combining the fastest LLM inference engine with state-of-the-art AI cloud infrastructure.

As a Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in building the next generation AI cloud platform – a highly available, global, blazing-fast cloud infrastructure that virtualizes cutting-edge ML hardware (GB200s/GB300s, BlueField DPUs) and enables state-of-the-art ML practitioners with self-serve AI cloud services, such as on-demand + managed Kubernetes and Slurm clusters. This platform serves both our internal SaaS products (inference, fine-tuning) and our external cloud customers, spanning dozens of data centers across the world.

Hybrid working two days a week in the Amsterdam office.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain performant, secure, and highly-available backend services/operators that run in our data centers and automate hardware management, such as Infiniband partitioning, in-DC parallel storage provisioning, and VM provisioning.
• Design and build out the IaaS software layer for a new GB200 data center with thousands of GPUs.
• Work on a global multi-exabyte high-performance object store, serving massive datasets for pretraining.
• Build advanced observability stacks for our customers with automated node lifecycle management for fault-tolerant distributed pretraining.
• Perform architecture and research work for decentralized AI workloads
• Work on the core, open-source Together AI platform
• Create services, tools, and developer documentation
• Create testing frameworks for robustness and fault-tolerance

To be successful, you’ll need to be deeply technical and possess excellent communication, collaboration, and diplomacy skills. You have strong fundamental software development skills. In addition, you have strong systems knowledge and troubleshooting abilities. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience and proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Golang desired)
• 5+ years experience writing high-performance, well-tested, production quality code
• Demonstrated experience with building and operating high-performance and/or globally distributed micro-service architectures across one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent communication skills – able to write clear design docs and work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
• Deep experience with Kubernetes internals a big plus, such as implementing non-trivial Kubernetes operators, device/storage/network plugins, custom schedulers, or patches thereon or Kubernetes itself

We're a tight-knit team of security incident responders and incident handlers doing "Security for Databricks on Databricks", using our own platform to create near-real-time log analytics, alerting and forensics.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior Security Operations Engineer who is AI-Forward to help scale and modernize our SecOps program. This is a hands-on, builder role for someone who will design and ship the security tooling that powers our triage, investigations, and response workflows.

You’ll report to the Technical Operations Director and work alongside our GRC lead to improve our vulnerability intake, threat response, darkweb posture, and internal security tooling. • Celonis Certifications and extensive leadership experience managing projects with OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines.

Kineto is a next-generation platform that enables creators, educators, and small businesses to generate, deploy, and operate fully functional AI-powered web applications – instantly and at scale. It combines LLM-driven code generation, multi-tenant Postgres (Neon), dynamic hosting (GKE and Knative), automated deployments (Flux), analytics, billing, and a seamless chat-based UX to make software creation accessible to everyone. Our team is growing rapidly, and we’re now seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who can design, build, and maintain our cloud-native platform, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and automated operations.

What you’ll do:

Cloud and platform engineering (DevOps):

• Design, implement, and manage the core infrastructure powering Kineto's platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including networking, security, and identity management.
• Build and operate resilient, highly available distributed systems using Kubernetes (GKE), Knative, Istio, and related cloud-native technologies.
• Automate the entire infrastructure life cycle (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring secure, reproducible, and auditable environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions and TeamCity) and deployment tools like Flux and Helm for GitOps-driven application delivery.
• Optimize and manage the multi-tenant data layer on Postgres and Neon, focusing on robust tenant isolation, performance, backups, and safe schema management.

Operational excellence and reliability:

• Drive site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, alerting (Prometheus, Grafana), logging (Loki), and incident response.
• Solve complex operational challenges, such as optimizing scale to zero for cost efficiency, minimizing cold starts, enhancing autoscaling behavior, and managing queue backpressure.
• Implement platform-wide performance tuning (e.g. container resource limits, distributed locks, caching strategies, and GC configurations).
• Ensure platform security and compliance by implementing best practices for secrets management, network segmentation, and vulnerability scanning.

Technical leadership:

• Own major infrastructure roadmap items, including multi-region deployments, disaster recovery planning, advanced tenancy separation, and ephemeral preview environments.
• Champion DevOps and SRE principles across the engineering team, mentoring engineers on cloud-native best practices, operational readiness, and debugging complex distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define the long-term vision for the platform's architecture and operational model.

We’d be glad to have you on our team if you:

• Have five or more years of experience building and operating large-scale, commercial cloud-native infrastructure, with a strong focus on DevOps/SRE practices.
• Possess deep, hands-on expertise with GCP (or AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes administration and operations (GKE experience is a strong plus).
• Are proficient with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, for managing complex environments.
• Have a solid understanding of Linux internals, networking (CNI and service mesh), security, and distributed system design.
• Are familiar with CI/CD tools, GitOps (e.g. Flux), monitoring stacks (Prometheus/Grafana), and logging systems.
• Thrive in cross-functional teams and excel at communicating complex infrastructure ideas clearly.
