Senior Bilingual Lawyer

Job Purpose

B.TECH is seeking a Senior Bilingual Lawyer to provide legal support across the business, ensuring compliance, protecting the company's interests, and managing legal matters related to contracts, litigation, and corporate affairs. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Arabic and English and possess strong legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents in both Arabic and English.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
  • Handle litigation cases, legal disputes, investigations, and court proceedings involving the company.
  • Prepare legal memoranda, claims, defense documents, and legal correspondence.
  • Review and assess legal risks associated with business activities and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise on their impact on the business.
  • Coordinate with external law firms, government authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.
  • Conduct internal investigations and support compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of legal records and contracts.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Law.
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience.
    • Strong experience in contract drafting and review in both Arabic and English.
    • Previous experience in corporate, commercial, banking, financial services, or retail sectors is preferred.
    • Excellent command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
    • Strong knowledge of Egyptian commercial, civil, and corporate laws.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
