About the Role
We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer with hands-on experience in both robotic machining and CNC router operations. The candidate will create and optimize CNC programs, ensuring high precision for marine and composite manufacturing processes.
KKey Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs for router machines using CAM software (PowerMill preferred).
- Generate toolpaths, perform simulations, and troubleshoot errors prior to production.
- Support and operate multi‑axis CNC machines.
- Optimize programs for cycle time, material efficiency, and machining quality.
- Execute full machine setup, including tooling, fixtures, and calibration.
- Monitor machining operations and adjust parameters for accuracy and quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Maintain clear documentation for revisions and machining processes.
- Follow company safety standards and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of CNC programming experience (router experience preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in PowerMill for CNC programming.
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD for interpreting technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of Alphacam is an added advantage.
- Basic familiarity with SolidWorks (beneficial).
- Strong ability to read CAD files and engineering drawings.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with 5‑axis machining is an advantage.
- Experience with 3‑axis and C‑axis machining is valuable.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in marine, boat building, composite, or tooling industries.
- Knowledge of 5‑axis machining and advanced CAM workflows.
- Hands‑on CNC machine operation.
- Experience using Alphacam and similar CAM environments.
- Furniture or wood‑working CNC machining experience (added advantage).
