Join HealthCorps as a TMHH Mentor and help teens make healthier choices, build leadership skills, and create community change. π― What Youβll Do
- Lead Teens Make Health Happen wellness clubs in 2β3 middle and/or high schools (3β4 hrs/week onsite).
- Mentor middle and high school students on wellness, leadership, and community projects.
- Support student-led activities (e.g., step challenges, lunchtime demos, school improvement events).
- Build relationships with school staff and teen wellness leaders.
- Track your impact through assessments and program documentation.
- Host monthly CafΓ© OβYea wellness demonstrations.
- Share program highlights on social media.
- Represent HealthCorps at school and community events.

Requirements
βοΈ Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate student in a related field (public health, education, social sciences, etc.)
- Take and pass background checks (criminal, child abuse, FBI fingerprinting, etc)
- In good academic standing
- Able to commit 6β8+ hours/week for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Comfortable working with teens and presenting wellness topics
- Ability to travel up to 30 miles within Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs
