Senior Executive - Client Servicing & ESP
About the Role
As part of WPP Media’s Brand Activation practice, we are seeking a proactive, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented Senior Executive – Client Leadership | Brand Activation. This role is crafted for individuals who embody the mindset of a client leader while building specialist expertise in on-ground brand activations, events, OOH-led experiences, and integrated engagement platforms.
You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to bring brands to life in the physical world—designing and delivering activation programs that connect audiences, create cultural relevance, and generate measurable business outcomes. The role gives you access to WPP’s global and regional capability network, enabling continuous growth and exposure to best-in-class tools, methodologies, and learning pathways within the communications and experience marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end brand activation campaigns across on-ground, OOH, experiential, retail, and partnership channels.
- Interpret client objectives and translate them into clear, actionable briefs and activation roadmaps.
- Ensure all campaigns are insight-driven, audience-centric, and aligned with brand and media strategies.
Client Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client interactions, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and timely updates.
- Build strong client relationships grounded in trust, expertise, and delivery excellence.
Operational Excellence
- Lead the operational implementation of campaigns—including vendor sourcing, partner negotiations, production oversight, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate with internal teams (media, creative, production, data) and external partners to ensure seamless integration across all activation touchpoints.
- Manage budgets, track financials, and ensure all work adheres to company, client, and regulatory standards.
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor campaign KPIs and on-ground performance metrics to assess effectiveness.
- Conduct post-campaign evaluations, synthesize learnings, and recommend optimizations for future initiatives.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of experience in brand activation, events, experiential marketing, OOH implementation, or integrated campaign management.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken); Sinhala or Tamil fluency is an added advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve in high-pressure, real-time activation environments.
- Passion for brand experiences, cultural trends, and delivering work that drives tangible impact.
