Iβm currently scheduling interviews for an ICU Registrar (Unaccredited) position at a regional hospital just 2h drive from Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity for doctors looking to build strong Critical Care experience in a supportive environment while living in one of the most beautiful regions in NSW.
Role Structure β Critical Care Rotation
β’ ICU β 6 months
β’ Anaesthetics β 3 months
β’ Emergency β 3 months
You will gain exposure to a wide range of procedures and clinical scenarios including:
β’ Advanced life support & resuscitation
β’ Arterial / central venous access
β’ Thoracotomy & emergency procedures
β’ Critical care patient management
β’ Multidisciplinary ICU care
Hospital is the main acute care hospital for the region, employing over 1,000 staff and providing:
β’ Emergency, medical, surgical & orthopaedic services
β’ ICU with high dependency and coronary care
β’ Childrenβs Ward and Maternity Unit
β’ Regional Cancer Care Centre
β’ Sub-acute Mental Health Unit
The hospital is currently undergoing a $500 million redevelopment, expanding services and facilities.
Itβs the perfect location for doctors wanting excellent clinical exposure without big-city stress.
Requirements
β’ MBBS or equivalent
β’ AHPRA registration
β’ Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Officer
