OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
ZeroFox seeks a Sr. IT Specialist to support a growing multinational cybersecurity company. The successful candidate will work with the corporate IT team on daily operations and long-term IT goals, covering in-house support, global team assistance across India and other locations, and end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding.
Role and Responsibilities
- Respond to in-house and remote IT requests from employees via walk-in, email, and service tickets; document all interactions in the ITSM ticketing system.
- Support the India office and global teams, handling incidents and requests across time zones.
- Resolve employee issues through cross-departmental collaboration; stay current on software and hardware updates.
- Work with employees and IT staff to gather requirements, assess impact on existing systems, and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and IT documentation.
- Procure, configure, and stage devices (laptops, peripherals, mobile) fully before a new hire's first day.
- Enroll devices via MDM (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji) and provision accounts through IdP platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD) with appropriate SSO, MFA, and access rights.
- Coordinate with HR and department leads to complete onboarding tasks on schedule for local and global hires.
- Execute offboarding procedures — account deprovisioning, device retrieval or remote wipe, and license reclamation.
- Maintain an accurate catalog of hardware assets, software licenses, and user assignments.
- Administer MDM and IdP platforms for policy configuration, compliance, and user lifecycle management across global endpoints.
- Manage ITSM tools for incident tracking, change management, and asset management.
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repairs for computers, handheld devices, and peripherals.
- Work with the systems team to ensure applications are patched on time per security and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of IT support or similar experience.
- 1+ years working with various hardware and software, including Apple laptops.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Jamf Pro, Intune, or Kandji) for device enrollment, policy enforcement, and compliance.
- Proficiency with IdP solutions (Okta, Azure AD, or OneLogin) including SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management.
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk or Freshservice) for ticketing, SLA tracking, and asset management.
- Proven ability to manage IT onboarding and offboarding end-to-end.
- Ability to support distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting employees across India and global offices.
