Job Summary

Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Groundskeeper/Cleaner for apartment communities in Tonawanda, North Tonawanda, Hamburg, and Buffalo. This role includes a mix of interior and exterior care, including grounds and cleaning. We’re looking for a flexible, 'all-hands-on-deck' professional who is ready to jump in and help out wherever the property needs it most.

Pay and Benefits

• $20/hour
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday
• Full-time, year-round position

Responsibilities

• Enhance the curb appeal of our properties by maintaining the parking lots, trash areas, dog waste stations, and outdoor spaces.
• Light landscaping such as grass cutting, weeding, mulching, and pruning.
• Snow removal as needed, including clearing and salting walkways.
• Clean interior common areas and unit turnovers as needed.
• Help with basic repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States 
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal and reliable mode of transportation with insurance
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases; traverse uneven terrain
