We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients following an acute stroke, providing high-quality care and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

What will your responsibilities be:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and discharge planning for patients following an acute stroke. You will likely work on the acute stroke ward, outlier wards, and in the Emergency Department (ED), requiring confidence and competence to work independently. You will collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Therapists, understanding the importance and value of working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as necessary.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience working with stroke patients
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
