We are partnering with an organization seeking an experienced Interim Controller to provide leadership and oversight of accounting operations during a transitional period. This role will be responsible for managing the close process, financial reporting, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring business continuity.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Review financial statements and supporting schedules
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Lead cash flow management and financial analysis efforts
Support audit preparation and external reporting requirements
Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior Controller or accounting leadership experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
Ability to quickly assess and improve accounting processes
