California LCSW Telehealth Therapist | Full-Time Remote Clinical Role

Job Summary

This full-time remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker position gives you the opportunity to provide consistent therapy services to clients throughout California from a private remote setting. The role centers on helping clients understand patterns, manage symptoms, build coping skills, and make progress toward personal goals through structured clinical care.

As an LCSW in this telehealth role, you will carry a therapy caseload, complete assessments, document sessions, and provide clinically appropriate treatment through secure video sessions. The work is practical, client-facing, and focused on helping people access quality mental health care without the barriers of in-person visits.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients through scheduled telehealth therapy sessions
• Conduct intake assessments and gather relevant psychosocial, behavioral, and clinical history
• Create individualized treatment goals that reflect each client’s needs and readiness for change
• Provide therapy for clients dealing with mood concerns, relationship stress, work stress, grief, trauma, life transitions, and other mental health needs
• Track client progress and update treatment plans as care needs change
• Complete session notes, assessments, and required documentation within expected timeframes
• Use sound clinical judgment when identifying risk, safety concerns, or need for higher levels of care
• Maintain a professional remote therapy environment that protects client privacy

Requirements

• Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Previous experience providing individual therapy or behavioral health services
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation skills and understanding of clinical charting requirements
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace suitable for remote therapy
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based care, trauma-informed therapy, or solution-focused therapy
