We are seeking an Embedded Security and Emergency Preparedness Advisor to support a tech client who delivers safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions that save time, cost, and reduce carbon emissions for our clients. The client connects 50 years of industry experience with the technology of tomorrow. With projects in more than 20 countries they are looking for a talented consultant who can help overcome the today's challenges and realise the opportunities ahead.

The Security and Emergency Preparedness Advisor will support global operations through a risk-based and integrated approach to security, emergency preparedness, and organisational resilience across onshore and offshore operations.

The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in Security, Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management. Candidates should be flexible, thrive on high levels of activity, and work effectively across disciplines.

Due to close interaction with Norwegian-based operations, authorities, and internal stakeholders, fluency in Norwegian and residence in the Bergen area are mandatory.

Job Description

  • Assist with all Security and Emergency Preparedness tasks
  • Perform risk assessments related to security and emergency preparedness, including foreign establishments and travel abroad
  • Ensure that contingency plans are established in all regions where the company operates
  • Perform audits, inspections and investigations within ISPS, Security and Emergency Preparedness
  • Maintain processes and procedures related to security and emergency preparedness offshore and onshore
  • Organise Emergency Preparedness exercises and tabletops

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree within Risk, Safety, Security or Nautical studies (Relevant experience may compensate for formal education)
  • Good Norwegian and English language skills (written & verbal)
  • Competence and experience from similar positions
  • Offshore health certificate
  • Able to travel offshore; domestic and international
  • Competence in risk assessment methods and investigations
  • Lead Auditor or Audit team member competence
  • High level of organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
