About the role

As a Senior Groups & Events Executive, you will play a key role in maximizing conversion opportunities and driving revenue growth for the hotel’s Groups & Events business. You will manage incoming inquiries, prepare tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from inquiry to confirmation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and convert Groups & Events inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event quotations in line with hotel pricing and commercial strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and event planners throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure accurate event planning and execution.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of business opportunities and client interactions, in CRM systems (Delphi, Opera, OnQ and other systems), ensuring data accuracy and proper tracking.
- Monitor conversion performance and identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings when required to support business conversion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of hotel sales processes, group and event planning, and revenue management principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi, Opera, OnQ, and event management systems is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken; additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and a customer-focused approach.
