Part Time Caregiver – Port Chester, NY

A family in Port Chester, NY 10573 is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to support a senior married couple in their home 3 times a week.

Schedule:

• Start Date: Asap
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (4 hours per day)

Family Specifications:

• Smoke free home
• 1 dog in the home

Responsibilities:

• Medication reminders specifically for the husband
• Support and supervision with Alzheimer’s specifically for the wife
• Companionship and engagement 
• Light housekeeping and tidying
• Meal preparation *optional 
• Occasional transportation to and from doctor's appointments

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving experience required
• Experience caring for those with Dementia/Alzheimer's required 
• Must be able to reliably commute, Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for out outings required 

Preferred:

• First Aid/CPR certifications

Compensation:

• $20 -$22 per hour
