We at Coforge are hiring Tech Lead Java Engineer with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, distributed backend systems with multi-tiered architecture, concurrency, and high availability.
• Independently translate complex functional and non-functional requirements into robust, efficient, and scalable backend solutions aligned with system architecture.
• Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle — including system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and practices (e.g., AI-assisted code review, GenAI-driven documentation, intelligent test generation) to improve team productivity and code quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive and usable technical documentation.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and advocate for engineering best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior, mid-level, and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making with cross-functional teams. 
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17+).
• Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Expertise in Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience with containers such as Docker, and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, EKS).
• Experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (relational).
• Proven experience building microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of AWS Serverless Architecture: Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, VPC.
• Experience with GenAI tools and practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development workflows.
