In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire for season 2026 a Pool Maintenance Technician.

Position Summary

The Pool Maintenance Technician ensures the safe, clean, and optimal condition of all swimming pools and surrounding areas in the resort, maintaining high standards of water quality, hygiene, and guest safety, while contributing to an exceptional leisure experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of all pools, Jacuzzis, and water features.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry, adding appropriate chemicals to maintain health and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain filtration, circulation, and heating systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Record and report daily readings, maintenance activities, and any irregularities or faults to the Engineering Department.
• Assist in the timely repair of pumps, filters, tiles, and lighting fixtures as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in pool equipment rooms and storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Communicate courteously with guests when on duty in pool areas, responding to minor queries or referring issues to the appropriate team.
• Support the Engineering and Housekeeping teams in poolside area upkeep and overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pool or water system maintenance, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Basic technical or mechanical education preferred.
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and relevant safety standards.
• Certification in pool operations (where applicable) is an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Reliability, organization, and teamwork.
• Discreet and courteous guest interaction.
• Proactive approach to preventive maintenance and operational excellence.
