About the role
We are looking for a proactive, business-oriented Technical Commercial Trainee who has a strong technical background and excels at integrating commercial goals with technical solutions.
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing the full commercial cycle, from lead qualification and customer engagement to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Developing and presenting technical and commercial presentations designed to address customer requirements and support business objectives.
- Working closely with clients to understand their technical challenges and provide suitable IT solutions and project approaches.
- Coordinating internally with various teams to ensure smooth project execution aligned with customer expectations.
- Supporting IT projects by acting as the intermediary between clients, technical teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Contributing to solution design by evaluating client needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and proposing practical and innovative enhancements.
- Collaborating with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, competitive, and consistent with project goals.
- Managing the entire procurement process, including communication with suppliers, gathering and assessing quotations, and processing purchase orders.
- Overseeing commercial and operational project requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and successful completion.
- Negotiating with vendors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, uphold quality standards, and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance throughout all procurement activities.
- Handling invoice tracking, payment schedules, and customer commitments to ensure timely revenue collection.
- Collaborating closely with finance teams to monitor outstanding payments and resolve any billing or contract-related issues.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- A technical background in IT
- A strong passion for engaging with customers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- The capability to comprehend both business needs and technical requirements
- A proactive attitude coupled with strong ownership and coordination skills
Experience in the Saudi market will be viewed as a significant advantage.
