The Electrical Engineer is an integral part of the team taking projects from conceptual design to completion in collaboration with the design team and our client. As the Electrical Engineer, you will assist Project Managers and other leads in achieving goals for small-to-mid scale projects, including budgetary estimates, resource alignment, client service, and business development. In addition, you will assume a primary role in project design including coordination, oversight, and client contact activities.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Evaluate electrical systems, specifications and requirements for conformance to code and for budget compliance.

2. Evaluate architectural, structural and mechanical systems for ability to conform to codes and our electrical designs.

3. Perform preliminary load calculations to support electrical budgets.

4. Create one-line diagrams and space utilization layouts and electrical programming matrices.

5. Provide code compliance assessments.

6. Create conduit routing and space allocation details.

7. Provide Utility coordination.

8. Provide space and system coordination with other trades.

9. Provide electrical power, lighting and system layouts to support budget pursuits.

10. Assist project management with budget support functions and technical support of projects.

11. Assist Pre-construction/Estimating group with technical support as needed.

12. Working with customers, consulting engineers and designers to develop projects from conceptual budgets through construction documents.

13. Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and trade interferences.

14. Verify that al complete work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications.

15. Working on multiple projects concurrently requiring the ability to prioritize and deal with highly technical and important issues that directly impact operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington preferred
  • 4 to 7 years experience in the Electrical Engineering field, with a proven track record.
  • Preferred to have power, power distribution and/or infrastructure background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as applying the principles of electricity, electronics, electromagnetism, probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Benefits

Salary range for this position is $85,000-$120,000 annually.

Opportunity for a discretionary year end bonus.
