JASARA PMC is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to spearhead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of HSE strategies and programs across all projects.
  • Establish and enforce HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, enhancing their HSE competency and awareness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote HSE initiatives and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Design and implement training programs to develop staff and contractor capabilities in HSE matters.
  • Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on developments in HSE legislation, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Foster a culture of safety within the organization through effective communication and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction or project management industry.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, best practices, and risk management principles.
  • Proven experience in leading safety programs and achieving compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to mitigate risks.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
