About the role

SAP Fioneer

Overview

Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do in the financial services world: delivering speed, results, and tangible impact for our clients. At the SAP Fioneer Group, we combine deep industry insight with technology and platform expertise to support banks in their digital transformation.

okadis Consulting GmbH is the group’s consulting unit in Germany—with many years of expertise in banking processes as well as implementation expertise in accounting, reporting/regulation, and analytical banking.

Your employer is okadis - here you are part of the team, and from here you shape client projects.

The Role

We are looking for a strong Senior SAP Banking Consultant with 3–5 years of professional experience in IT integration projects within the financial services sector, who can effectively bridge the gap between consulting and implementation.

You will work in interdisciplinary teams on integration and transformation projects related to SAP-based banking landscapes - from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, cutover, and sta-bilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on end-to-end integration projects (business and technical) in the banking sector, with clear accountability for defined streams and deliverables.
  • Business-IT translation: Structure requirements, create specifications, explain solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Integration & Interfaces: Design and implementation of integration patterns, including error analysis and stabilization.
  • SAP Banking-related work: Collaborating on the implementation, enhancement, and integration of SAP Banking components and adjacent systems.
  • Quality & Go-live: Test concepts and execution (SIT/UAT), cutover support, hypercare, and documentation.
  • Contributing to the further development of our products, processes, and assets

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT integration projects in the financial services sector (ideally banking)
  • SAP expertise in one of the following areas:
    • S/4HANA Core Banking / banking modules such as CML, TRM or similar
    • Equivalent SAP-related expertise such as SAP FSDM, SAP BTP (e.g., Integration Suite/CPI), data/integration architectures, SAP APIs/OData, understanding of interfaces and data models.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and structured communication.
  • Implementation-oriented: you see topics through not just “conceptually,” but all the way to testing.
  • Very good German.
  • Advantages
    • Experience in the development bank sector (products/processes, funding logic, relevant interface landscapes).
    • Expertise in data platforms/reporting setups, data migration, or regulatory-related integrations.

Benefits

  • High-impact, lean setup: Be part of a high-performing team focused on delivering measurable customer value.
  • Leadership track: Clear career development opportunities with room for specialization.
  • Best of both worlds: The agility of a focused consulting firm combined with the ecosystem and market reach of an established group.
  • Flexible work arrangements (remote) and attractive, performance-based compensation.
