About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed data reconciliation between internal records, financial statements, and external data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies in financial and operational data.
- Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation processes, findings, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to improve data quality and streamline reconciliation procedures.
- Prepare reports summarizing reconciliation results and escalate issues as necessary to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data control policies and frameworks to ensure ongoing data integrity.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to data reconciliation and financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in data reconciliation, accounting, finance, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and problem-solve effectively.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
