About the role
Position: Deal Closer
Location: Remote (South Africa, US Hours)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and convert warm inbound leads generated through Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Micro Edge Ads, and other eCommerce marketing channels
- Engage with customers promptly, understand their needs, and guide them toward the best solution or product offering
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers through excellent customer service and communication
- Focus on closing deals and driving conversions rather than cold calling or business development
- Follow up consistently with leads to maximise sales opportunities and improve customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer interactions, lead updates, and sales activity within CRM systems
- Assist customers throughout the purchasing process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from enquiry to close
- Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
- Stay informed on product offerings, promotions, and competitor activity within the eCommerce space
- Prepare sales updates and conversion reports for management as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in closing deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
