Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Healthcare EDI and data integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Talend, Azure, and end-to-end ETL development, along with a proven ability to manage large-scale healthcare data processing and integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines for healthcare data integration
  • Work with Healthcare EDI transactions, including ANSI X12 (834, 837, 277, etc.)
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data workflows using Talend and other ETL tools
  • Integrate data across multiple platforms utilizing Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Data Lake)
  • Perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and translate requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data-related issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with healthcare industry standards

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in ETL development or data engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Talend (required)
  • Proven experience with Healthcare EDI transactions (ANSI X12 – 834, 837, 277)
  • Solid experience working with Azure services (Data Factory, Data Lake, etc.)
  • Advanced SQL and data transformation skills
  • Experience within the healthcare domain (e.g., claims, enrollment, billing systems)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional ETL tools such as SSIS or Informatica
  • Exposure to Azure Databricks and/or Python
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices

Technical & Work Environment Requirements:

Internet Connectivity:

  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps
  • Backup connection with at least 10 Mbps
  • Backup connection must support work continuity during power outages

Primary Device:

  • Desktop or laptop with:
    • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent
    • Minimum of 8 GB RAM

Backup Device:

  • Must meet or exceed Intel Core i3 performance
  • Must be operational during power interruptions

Additional Requirements:

  • Functional webcam
  • Noise-canceling USB headset
  • Quiet, dedicated home office workspace
  • Smartphone for communication and verification purposes
