We are looking for a skilled Flooring Estimator to prepare accurate job estimates, analyze project costs, and coordinate with subcontractors. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PlanSwift and have a strong understanding of flooring materials, measurements, and installation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare flooring estimates using PlanSwift.
• Calculate job costs including labor, materials, and additional project expenses.
• Review blueprints, take-offs, and project specifications.
• Communicate with subcontractors to gather quotes, confirm scopes of work, and clarify project details.
• Track pricing, materials, and subcontractor updates.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted on time.
• Assist with revisions, change orders, and updated bid documents.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PlanSwift (required).
• Experience estimating flooring projects.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills when dealing with subcontractors.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple estimates at once.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in construction estimating.
• Knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry rates.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
