Liquid Personnel is recruiting a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager for its client’s Children’s Residential Service based in Swindon.
This role involves leading a brand-new, trauma-informed therapeutic children’s service designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and family-style home for vulnerable young people. With capacity for just 4–5 children, the service aims to feel like a true home—where everyday moments such as mealtimes, homework, and shared activities become opportunities for healing and growth.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Lead the development and delivery of a brand-new service from the ground up
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and high standards of care
  • Implement trauma-informed approaches such as PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
  • Oversee assessments and create tailored care plans for each child
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a skilled and compassionate team
  • Foster a culture of trust, emotional safety, and connection

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
  • Proven experience in trauma-informed care settings
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and best practices
  • Passion for child-centred care and emotional wellbeing
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (required)
