With over 1,300 talented staff and operations in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. As a Technical Pre-sales Specialist at the region's leading ecommerce service provider, you will support sales teams screen opportunities and help design Technical ecommerce solutions for new and existing clients. This role involves understanding complex client needs and recommending modern technical solutions within the fast-moving Southeast Asian ecommerce space to create compelling proposals.

Job Responsibilities in a nutshell:
In this role, the candidate will enable local & regional business development (sales) in their sales function and organise a new deal pipeline for the Professional Service working team. Driving cross-functional coordination between stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Including:
● Existing & New clients across multiple countries
● Product Development
● Logistics
● Marketing

● Solutioning & estimation
● Statement & Scope of Work (SOW) writing
● Manage & maintain sales support process & documentation.
● Facilitate ongoing communication between aCommerce and the Client’s business or technical teams as required for scoping the opportunity.

Sourcing & Screening
● Support sales by qualifying inbound clients' technical ecommerce needs.
● Support sales in gauging potential clients to understand their business drivers, challenges, and requirements.
● Build strong initial relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
● Clearly present aCommerce's value proposition through engaging communication.
● Stay updated on emerging technologies and ecommerce best practices to identify opportunities.

Solutioning & Estimation
● Gather and document business, functional, marketing, and technical requirements from leads to inform solution design.
● Define relevant high-level business and operational process flows.
● Collaborate with internal teams (Product Development, Logistics, Marketing, Web Development, Application Support) to ensure viable solutions.
● Build on existing packages and help refine clear project estimations (effort, resources, cost).
● Work with the Product & Architecture team to design robust and scalable solutions using platforms like Magento & Shopify considering technical integrations, software development processes, and potential ERP interactions.
● Proactively identify project risks and define initial mitigation strategies during solutioning.

Statement & Scope of Work (SOW)
● Draft clear and accurate Statements of Work (SOWs).
● Support handover to the working team with necessary documents.
● Precisely define scope, objectives, deliverables, assumptions, client responsibilities, and exclusions to manage expectations, communicating limitations transparently.
● Apply strong attention to detail to all documentation for clarity.
● Ensure all pre-sales documentation, especially SOWs, is complete, current, and accurate.
● Support commercial teams in client communication to refine and agree on the proposed scope and technical SOW.

Communication Skills
● Effectively participates in team and business partner meetings.
● Holds regular pipeline meetings with business development and professional services.
● Keeps business development and solution design updated on cost simulation adjustments based on team feedback and relevant news.
● Clearly communicates new client solutions to management.
● Delivers engaging and well-organized presentations.
● Resolves/escalates issues promptly.
● Communicates difficult information tactfully.
● Conveys messages effectively in writing and verbally.

Qualifications
● A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. computing, IT, software engineering etc)
● Minimum of 3 years of professional and technical experience in eCommerce.
● Excellent communication skills, verbal and written: Thai & English
● Strong attention to detail and ability to understand complex systems
● Experience of technical integrations and software development processes: web development, application programming, mobile app development, database and system design
● Experience with eCommerce platforms, order management systems, warehouse management systems, as well as ERP systems is a plus
● Very strong client management and people management skills are needed
● Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to client sites
