We are seeking an experienced Feed Mill Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a feed mill facility, ensuring efficient production, product quality, operational performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in feed mill operations, equipment, production systems, and raw materials, with a proven track record of managing feed manufacturing processes and optimizing plant performance.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing operations within a feed mill facility.
  • Strong knowledge of feed mill systems, equipment, and production processes.
  • Hands-on experience with raw materials, feed ingredients, formulations, and feed manufacturing operations.

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the feed mill to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production.
  • Oversee feed manufacturing processes, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs are achieved.
  • Monitor and optimize feed mill systems, equipment, and production performance.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of raw materials and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Supervise preventive maintenance activities and coordinate equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance, food safety, and operational compliance standards.
  • Lead production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Prepare operational reports, production analyses, and performance dashboards for management.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor production and operations teams while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
