Job Description:
 
The Service Engineer position at Zeeco will spend 60% of their time traveling to various installation sites for Zeeco's Burner Division. The primary job responsibility after the training period will be to supervise and validate the burner and any related equipment installation, perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, start-up and tuning, and troubleshooting of Zeeco's combustion products. When not in the field, this position could include work at Zeeco's test facility or working with various groups in other engineering capacities if the employee resides in the Tulsa, OK area.
 
Job Duties:
·         Provide solutions for any burner or related equipment problems that might arise in the field with little to no supervision
·         Communicate both professionally and effectively with personnel ranging from plant managers, skilled labor, or other Zeeco employees
·         Supervise and manage contractors or other personnel while on site
·         Manage workflow based on customer expectations while on site
·         Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure Zeeco combustion systems are installed and operating correctly
·         Start-up, operation and troubleshooting of all Zeeco combustion systems and/or equipment
·         Create and submit detailed reports 
 
Qualifications
·         Associate’s degree in an Engineering discipline or comparable field experience
·         Ability to travel a minimum of 60%
·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills
·         Ability to manage workflow and work crews while on job site
·         Must possess technical and mechanical skills in reading mechanical and electrical drawings, piping utilities from P&ID's, instrumentation, welding and electrical wiring
·         Must be able to troubleshoot and report back for assistance if necessary
