Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Job Summary

In this role, you will provide remote mental health counseling to clients who need consistent, professional support. Each day will involve virtual therapy sessions, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and helping clients work through concerns that may be affecting their mental health and daily functioning.

Job Overview

• Setting: Remote / Telehealth
• Type: Full-Time
• Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide remote counseling sessions for assigned clients
• Complete intake assessments and document presenting concerns
• Build treatment plans that reflect client goals and clinical needs
• Provide counseling for anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment issues, grief, and relationship concerns
• Track client progress and update plans as needed
• Maintain clinical records in accordance with required standards
• Use secure systems for telehealth sessions and communication
• Follow all confidentiality and ethical guidelines
• Identify safety concerns and respond according to clinical procedures

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field
• Active Florida LMHC license in good standing
• Previous experience providing individual counseling or psychotherapy
• Comfortable providing therapy through telehealth
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload responsibly
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions
