Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Business Development Representative to help generate new business opportunities and support the agency's growth. This role is focused on building relationships with founders, executives, and business leaders through outbound outreach, primarily on LinkedIn, while identifying opportunities that translate into qualified meetings and revenue.

This is not a task-based lead generation role. The ideal candidate will think strategically, take ownership of outbound efforts, continuously improve performance, and operate as a trusted business development partner to the Founder.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target prospects aligned with the company vision, ideal client profile 
  • Execute personalized outbound outreach through LinkedIn and other relevant channels 
  • Build and nurture relationships with founders, executives, and business owners 
  • Qualify prospects and schedule discovery calls 
  • Own outreach campaigns from prospecting through meeting generation 
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics including response rates, meeting bookings, and conversion rates 
  • Test and refine messaging, targeting strategies, and outreach processes 
  • Identify new channels, communities, partnerships, or opportunities to generate pipeline 
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and pipeline progress 
  • Collaborate directly with the Founder to align business development efforts with company growth goals 
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on campaign performance and sales activity 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Outbound Sales, or B2B Lead Generation 
  • Experience owning outbound prospecting efforts from research through booked meetings 
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel metrics and conversion tracking 
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound prospecting tools 
  • Ability to discuss and analyze performance metrics such as: 
    • Response rates 
    • Positive reply rates 
    • Meeting booking rates 
    • Conversion rates 
    • Pipeline generation 
  • Experience creating or improving outreach strategies independently 
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently with minimal supervision 
  • Experience with CRM platforms and pipeline management tools 
  • Ability to learn new industries and quickly understand client value propositions
