At ALTEN Mexico, a leading company in engineering and technological development, we are looking for an Accounting and Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to join our team. Activities:

• Carry out manual accounting records related to the processes of a. Banks, b. Purchases and Payments to suppliers, c. Fixed Asset Control, d. Deferred Charges Control, e. Payroll Records, f. Loans and Interests, g. Intra-group Charges, and any other.
• Monitoring and enforcing the general purchasing and accounts payable process.
• Ensure compliance with the Supplier Evaluation procedure.
• Ensure the accounts payable (payments to suppliers requested by the different ALTEN Support departments) and organize the payment vouchers, as well as follow up on each of them.
• Ensure employees' per diems, budgets, and reimbursements, from approval, training, or follow-up on employees' questions and verifications of them through Open Air.
• Manage and support flight and hotel reservations, management of the travel agency, support in the payment of VISAS for ALTEN Mexico Engineering staff, in order to achieve a monthly report of billed travel expenses.
• Prepare expense reports for clients for each engineer, which must be sent to the client.
• Generate the expense reports and/or breakdowns requested by the general management or by the finance department.
• Support in resolving questions regarding payments with external suppliers.
• Monitoring of applicable Policies, Procedures, and work instructions established in the Quality Management System.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Administration, or related field
• Previous experience of 5-7 years in accounting and accounts payable (AP), fixed assets, accounting reconciliations.
• 2 years of experience in audit office work (desirable)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of ERP NetSuite, Contpaqi or similar
• Advanced English (reports to USA)
