Eliot is seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our Brain Injury program which provides high-quality, innovative programming to adults with brain injuries to enhance their lives, develop personal skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.

As a Support Specialist, you will offer an array of restorative skill building activities and support to rebuild communication proficiency, social & behavioral skills, self help abilities, and management of daily life activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed, promoting independence and personal growth
  • Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and report any significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report all maintenance or safety issues to ensure a clean and safe environment

Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma 
  • Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults.
  • Ability to drive residence van
  • Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle

Schedules:

  • Friday & Saturday, 3pm-11pm (16 hours)
  • Friday & Saturday, 7am-3pm (16 hours)
  • Friday-Monday, 7am-3pm (32 hours)
Hourly Rate
$20.50$20.50 USD
