We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Trade Marketing Manager to lead and oversee our DACH Trade Marketing operations.
The position is based in our Frankfurt office. Hybrid – 3 days in the office.
OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Managing Director you will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, working cross-functionally to deliver compelling shopper experience and drive growth across all retail channels in the DACH region.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of Trade Marketing Managers, working closely with Sales to align on and execute joint business plans that drive revenue and market share across DACH.
- Strategic Planning: Build and execute a comprehensive Trade Marketing plan tailored to the DACH market, aligned with the overarching EU marketing strategies.
- Retailer Collaboration: Own and drive Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key DACH retail partners.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and implement launch strategies, in-store activations, and online campaigns aligned with SharkNinja's brand positioning.
- Consumer Engagement: Develop creative and localized campaigns to increase product awareness, engagement, and in-store/online conversions across the DACH region.
- Events & Trade Shows: Identify, plan, and execute participation in relevant trade shows and retailer events that support revenue objectives, including key DACH industry events.
- Point of Sale Optimization: Evaluate current POS tools and implement improvements; define and monitor key success metrics (e.g., NPS, DAS).
- Digital Retail Strategy: Lead the strategy and execution of Brand Shops and digital merchandising across e-retailer platforms.
- Retail Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely product data is provided to retail partners for listings and online experiences.
- Budget Ownership: Manage retailer coop budgets to support trade marketing initiatives and maximize ROI in collaboration with retail partners.
KEY ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Trade Marketing, ideally within the consumer goods or retail sector, including experience leading and building a team.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and motivating teams toward shared goals.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Agile mindset with the ability to pivot quickly.
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, fluent in both German and English
- Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Creativity & Innovation: Passion for finding creative ways to drive consumer engagement and sales.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive and self-motivated, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
