About the role
Fully remote | Complete engagement job
Founded in Palo Alto by Dr. Andrew Ng and Israel Niezen, Factored helps U.S. companies build and scale world-class AI, ML, and Data teams, powered by the top 1% of LATAM talent, with a defining purpose: To empower brilliant humans, unleash their potential, and amplify their impact in the world.
At Factored, you’ll be part of a community that values learning, ownership, and authenticity, where your growth is personal and your ideas matter. We’re transparent, curious, and collaborative. We strive for excellence, celebrate diversity, encourage curiosity, and build an environment where you can truly thrive.
We're hiring Factored's first Product Manager for our Business Transformation & Intelligence team (BTI) — we build the internal technology that runs Factored from within: the workflows, data infrastructure, and internal products our own people use to do their best work.
You won't just manage a backlog. You'll sit at the intersection of vision and execution, making the product calls that take us from manual and reactive to an autonomous, self-serve intelligence ecosystem for 5K Factors.
The best systems are the ones you never notice, they work quietly in the background so people can flourish. That's the standard we're building to, and the reason BTI exists: to help Factored empower brilliant humans, unleash their potential, and amplify their impact on the world. If that's the work you want your name on — join us. Apply now.
What you'll be responsible for
- Strategic Problem Solving: You are the owner of business outcomes, not a ticket-taker. You will diagnose root-cause business challenges and proactively propose, design, and champion end-to-end solutions that solve them, rather than waiting for requirements or backlog items.
- Autonomous Delivery: Lead with high agency. You are responsible for transforming ambiguous business goals into clear product specs and driving execution independently. You define the "what" and "why," partnering with engineering to determine the "how," and are expected to make things happen without needing to be managed.
- Continuous Curiosity: Investigate root problems and user pain points deeply to understand the "why" before engineering teams start building.
- Courageous Transparency: Actively push back on requests to ensure we design with intention, not just complete tickets. Provide honest feedback on internal processes to constantly improve them.
- Technical Excellence & Sustainable Velocity: Deliver high-impact solutions with speed while maintaining sustainable system health. You strike a pragmatic balance between rapid shipping and quality—avoiding over-engineering while ensuring our systems can scale. You ship fast, but with an eye toward long-term vision.
- High Ownership:You will act as the CEO of your products, expected to identify opportunities, align stakeholders, and drive progress autonomously. If a process is broken, you fix it. If a goal is unclear, you define it.
- Product Communication & Transparency: Manage product communications and release notes to provide visibility into our roadmap and progress.

- Proven track record of mentoring junior PMs or establishing product processes in a growing organization.
