We are looking for a talented Analog Circuit Design Engineer with expertise in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design to contribute to the development of high-performance semiconductor solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, and optimizing transistor-level analog circuits for advanced integrated circuits using cutting-edge CMOS technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Analog Circuit Design, SerDes architectures, and Cadence Virtuoso, with a strong understanding of advanced semiconductor process nodes.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the IC development lifecycle, ensuring designs meet stringent performance, power, and reliability requirements. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and validate transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuits using Cadence Virtuoso and industry-standard simulation tools.
- Develop high-performance analog building blocks with a focus on SerDes circuits, ensuring optimal speed, power, and signal integrity.
- Perform circuit simulations, design verification, characterization, and optimization across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners.
- Collaborate with layout, verification, and physical design teams to achieve first-pass silicon success.
- Participate in design reviews, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Work with advanced CMOS technology nodes, including TSMC 16nm, 7nm, 5nm, or below, to deliver robust analog IP solutions.
- Analyze circuit performance, identify design improvements, and implement optimizations for power, area, and reliability.
- Support silicon bring-up, validation, and post-silicon debugging activities as required.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and simulation reports.
- Stay updated with emerging analog design methodologies, semiconductor technologies, and industry best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Analog Circuit Design for Analog/Mixed-Signal ICs.
- Strong expertise in transistor-level CMOS analog circuit design and simulation.
- Practical experience designing or supporting SerDes and other high-speed analog building blocks.
- Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre simulation environment.
- Good understanding of analog design concepts such as amplifiers, bias circuits, current mirrors, voltage references, and signal integrity.
- Experience working with advanced semiconductor process technologies, preferably TSMC nodes.
- Exposure to mixed-signal design components such as ADCs is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to optimize designs for performance, power, and area.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Effective communication skills and a passion for designing innovative analog semiconductor solutions.
