Role Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient orthopedic position in Raymore, MO. This role is centered on helping patients recover from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions through evaluation, treatment planning, skilled therapy, education, and progress monitoring.

The clinic treats patients ages 11 to 90 and sees a wide range of needs, including pain, limited mobility, weakness, balance concerns, movement restrictions, post-injury recovery, and return-to-activity goals. The role offers a professional clinic setting, a steady caseload, and opportunities to continue developing as a clinician.

Compensation

New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience

Preferred Work Schedule Options

The clinic offers flexibility and would strongly prefer one of the following:

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days Preferred

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Clinic Snapshot

• Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
• Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
• Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
• EMR System: WebPT
• Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
• Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Core Duties

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate physical therapy needs
• Build treatment plans based on diagnosis, patient goals, mobility needs, and clinical assessment
• Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using appropriate therapy interventions
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance work, and functional rehab
• Teach patients home programs and safe movement strategies
• Review progress and update plans of care based on patient response
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation through WebPT
• Work with PTAs and clinical staff to support consistent patient care

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work with patients across a wide age range and varied orthopedic needs
