Get Golfing CIO, a charity supporting struggling English golf facilities to achieve sustainability, is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join their team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food and beverage offerings at one of their eleven sites with 6,000 members and over 130,000 unique visitors each year. Get Golfing CIO is a financially stable and growing organization with revenues of circa £17 million and an annual surplus of approximately £2m, which is reinvested back into their venues, staff, and community objectives. The Chef de Partie will work alongside a talented team of culinary professionals to provide outstanding customer service to members and visitors at a unique sports facility.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, adhering to the established standards of the kitchen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu development and food production planning.
  • Manage inventory and food orders, ensuring that the kitchen is adequately stocked with fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, ensuring that all equipment, tools, and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized frequently.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members, providing guidance in areas such as cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and food handling procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved, and any issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure that all kitchen staff members do the same.

Hourly Rate -£15.00

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, including experience in high volume cooking environments.
  • A professional culinary training qualification and a strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule, as this role may require working weekends and holidays.
